Victoria Community Regional Park — Attraction in Carson

This is a great park to take walks, spend time with your dog, have family gatherings, and have the kids play at the playground, but just like anything else, it can be hit or miss. Sometimes there are soccer matches or other sporting events that take up the fields, so often shaded spots are already taken up and it leaves little room for others. So the experience is what you make it. There is a huge space on the other side of the "community center", so there is ample space.

Sometimes it can be a bit dirty around larger seating areas, but that's mostly from other people, and usually dog owners are good about keeping their dogs on the leash.

It's a nice space with plenty of lot and street parking, Ans usually a good amount of events take place here.

My team catered a company picnic here last month for 300 people. The picnic pavilion has adequate seating for large groups of 250-300 guests. A couple pointers if you are planning an event here...

1. verify power is working, we did not have power until after the event. The maintenance crew did come out and repair it, but we were wrapping up event by that point.
2. maintenance did not want us driving on the grass, due to sprinklers. The Authorities and Electricians drive their cars and trucks in the grass.
3. while we did not see them during our day time event, authorities say there are Coyotes in the open space next to this park and they do get hungry for your food.

I will return here! Good park for a company...

We just finished our soccer games, and this lady supposedly the Supervisor was kicking out everyone from the parking lot at Victoria park where the tennis courts are at. Their signs they have an even from 5pm 8am? I passed by 3 times Saturday night to Sunday as I live close and nothing is being held there.

This office has a bad habit of putting up signs in the parking and at the Seating area that are FALSE and not true.

They might just not want to people be sitting in those areas and lazy to stay All Working hours to close down the parking lot and...
