Boston Cream Donut — Restaurant in Carson

My first time visiting. I don't frequent donut shops often and even at places I'm familiar with, I tend to spend a little while going over the menu. No other customers were in there when me and my mom entered. But the Asian guy at the counter was subtly rushing us to hurry up and order. He was rude from the time we ordered to our transaction over nothing. I didn't tip him because he didn't deserve a tip. The way he spoke to me and my mom made me feel less than and wondering what about us made him treat us inferior to the other customers who came in after us (btw whom he did not display the same demeanor towards). He was warm with them and thanked them as I was stirring my coffee with the condiments with my back turned.

Not only was his customer service a bad taste in the mouth, he filled my coffee cup almost to the top even though I asked for a hazelnut coffee (meaning I need some room in the cup for the creamer and sugar). His service was as though his job was very much a chore and like he was being forced to serve us. As though we didn't pay and he was working for free.. Lol. SO GLAD THERE ARE THOUSANDS OF DONUT SHOPS. I don't think it's news that I don't see me returning there in the future.. Customer service really DOES have an impact on whether a customer will return or NOT, even if the food and/or beverages are good! I...

Donuts and stuff are great but witnessing the Asian lady being so rude and disrespectful to an elderly man of color was absolutely disgusting. All he needs was assistance with a scratcher ticket and she was extremely rude about it. Making comments saying if you don’t know how to use them don’t play it was absolutely rude unnecessary and disrespectful. Especially since folks of color are your main customer! We actually tried to talk her down to not be so mean and rude and she kept on and on to the point I gave my food back and refused to support any penny to a business like this. I have been here before and another group of ladies were great but this particular one is disgusting and shouldn’t even be working with such attitude towards ANY customer! This Friday morning went to go have me a breakfast croissant sandwich I usually cook at home but it's Friday going have me something that Iike right I order my sandwich from this place and instead of a croissant baster gave wonder bread I could of made that myself at home I open my sandwich here at work and I seen my sandwich I was like what dam jerk and he even gave my sandwich to some other guy when I order if that guy would of taken off with my sandwich I would told the owner your fault pay attention not at the women that's working with you don't know what race they are dude look so jealous and wad trying give me attitude next time when I go I make sure give the right bread....
