I dialed the number listed to speak to management at R & R Soul Food however the phone number is not working. I'm writing this review because I experience last evening the worst customer service and food. After ordering food, paying, and waiting for a while, I was called for my order. I checked my order. BBQ chicken and Oxtails. I immediately inquired about the change in portion size. 2- legs and a thigh a scoop of greens and a scoop of macorni and cheese. I asked if I could get 2-thighs and a leg instead. I was advised I ordered the lunch size and would have to purchase a side order for a thigh. I said ok. Then I looked at the Oxtails and shook my head. I proceeded with this is the $18.95 plate? I was told, "You ordered the lunch servicing because you only got 2 side dishes, rice and gravy and string beans.
While waiting for the side order of BBQ chicken I looked at menu to distinguish what was lunch and dinner. I noticed there was 2 different prices on menus available BBQ chicken said $11.50 on one menu and $12.50 on the other. Oxtails said $14 on one menu and $18.95 on another menu. I said there are two different menus with 2 different prices.
I was told the correct price was inside the menu we just have these flyers out here and then I was told $8.99 for the side order of chicken. A thigh. HUH!!!!!
I'm not paying $8.99 for a piece of chicken. I was told I also get a leg with it. LOL! No, not today, and if you are not going to honor the prices on the flyer you need to remove them from the counter.
At this point, I guess she was the lead server with purple and pink hair, proceeded to snatch the flyers and said, No we are not removing this is for our customers who want to know what we have.
Me, excuse me that was rude, the prices are wrong and that is false advertisement. She, replied we tell our customers. Me, no you didn't today and that is false advertisement neither did she say it was 8.99 for a piece of chicken.
Bottom line the price on the menu's in this picture are not correct. The quality of food has sub-par and the customer service is aweful; particuarlly the young lady with the purple and pick hair,
I have reviewed my receipt total $32.21 includes a $1 charge for using debit card that was not disclosed at time of purchase. I have combined BBQ chicken and Oxtail meal with both prices shown in the establishment, tax, and $1 service charge and nothing totals $32.21 so, I have no idea what I was charged for my meal because debit rceipt only shows total plus $1
It's unfortunate that the food was not the same, what is worse is the disregard, disrespect, and inconsideration of customer service. I will never return and I have shared with many of those who visited this establishment and they all say R&R is not what it use to be and they stopped going to the resturant a long time ago.

My experience was one if the worst.
Walked in and went straight to the counter, but when i got to the front, I was asked if it was for here or to-go. I said. "For here" and was told to have a seat and my party of 2 will be waited on.
Waited 20 min with no service...still hadn't ordered drinks or food...didn't even have a menu! So I got up myself and grabbed a menu. One lady walked by 3 times to wait on other tables (who already had their food), we made eye contact and I noticed she looked at our table with no food or drinks. But still, no service.
After 5 more minutes, I went up to the counter and asked if we could place our order. 3 people standing behind the counter by the way, 1 just standing there, 1 stuffing her face, and the other looks at me and says, "So you want your food to go?"
I replied, "No, but we were told (by you) to have a seat and it's been 20 min and we still haven't been waited on."
"So you want your food to go?"
I wanted to say...maybe u should listen instead of rolling your eyes...smh. However, I didn't get an attitude back because my party really wanted to try the food and I didnt want them to spit in our food.
If it were up to me, we would've been gone after 5 minutes with no service.
After 20 more minutes of waiting, they called pur number. I walk up to get the food and the same girl goes, "It'll be 15 more minutes for the mac n cheese. Would you like to order a different side, or wait?"
"I'll wait"...
Omg. So, another 20 minutes go by and they call our number again. Finally got the food. Take it to the car, then realize they messed up our sides and didn't give me my sweet tea I ordered.
After a whole hour in that place, I didn't want to go back in just to wait another 20 minutes for a tea.
Customer service is everything....and this place sucks. Working in the front (as a waiter, cashier, receptionist, whatever...) you're representing the company/organization. These 3 girls did a horrible job and we will not be returning. If they were helpful or even said sorry for the wait, that could've made a difference and they could have had a couple of returning customers. The food was good, but not worth returning for...for...
Read moreI phoned in my order only to get there and it wasn't what I asked for and when I told the woman she said well they were not going to change it. I told her that's fine I will not be paying $17.99 for the pork chop dinner. I paid $11.50 for the three side orders of vegetables like a damn fool, because it was not enough greens or yams although I did tell them to fill the cup up with the yams. I saw the peach cobbler and ask the price and she said $4.00 so I said okay. However when I got it , it was a smaller container and I asked her why and she said because you wanted a small. I wanted what I saw but that is not what I got. However I did get plenty of bad attitude and customer service. This isn't the First time that I have been there and received such nasty customer service but it will be the last time because I refuse to pay for nasty attitude and less than good customer service. I noticed that the few people that were dining in had a decent amount of phone for their money but getting it to go was way less. I called them back and told them how I felt about my experience. They want you to do business with black people but you have to deal with their misery and over priced food that's not worth the money that they charge. I informed her that I am sure that they lose a lot of business due to their attitude. I own my own business and I informed her that I would never hire any of them with their nasty attitude that's just no way to do business. The owner is a mean Mexican man with an attitude bigger and taller than he is.
