I’m grateful for an updated park but unfortunately was a little disappointed for this update. This used to be a great park to bring toddlers - which is pretty hard to come by. Since they’ve changed the equipment, it is too terrifying to bring my toddler here. The top of the windy slide has such a small platform and is so high that I don’t know how even a little older kids can manage taking turns up there without falling! The side by side slide option is pretty steep as well. There’s still a little sand spot and some baby swings but hardly enough for toddlers who want to practicing climbing, unfortunately. Sorry for the bad review on nice new equipment.

I walk/jog there often and it is very pleasant. There are multiple folks walking their dogs, as long as you're not canine-phobic; and generally every has their dog leashed. I have listened much music and watched multiple sunsets here. The maintenance is impeccable, and if they had the same bathrooms in NY, people would move in!

I have fond memories of this park. I used to go here when I was a little gremlin. It's fun for the memoires sale but mostly embellished by the nostalgia. It is fun but there's not a lot to do.also the park was wet when I visited. Also the swings are very low to the ground

My toddlers loved this park until they changed the play equipment. I hate to be a downer and I appreciate TOC renovating local parks, but the new play equipment they put up is hardly usable for any kid under 4. I saw multiple parents come with toddlers and have to climb on the structures with their kids to keep them from falling from the steep drop off on the side. The new slide is so steep that both of my kids hit their heads every time they went down them, and other parents mentioned the same thing. Even some older kids playing mentioned how steep it was. I wish we had more options for the toddlers to play on. It seems like many playgrounds in this area are for...

This park is incredibly well maintained. It had stopped raining as we and our other 3 friends arrived and a man through Cary Parks and Rec. handed us a box of disposable cloths to use to wipe off the equipment along with the rags I had started to use that I had brought. We shared them with the other people who later arrived to use the playground. This is a phenomenal playground for children ages 2-5! The restrooms are very close to the playground too. The toy car and toy airplane to ride are a big favorite for the children to use as they rock...
