I would like to preface this with - If you're anywhere near a subaru in the local car scene - you are almost guaranteed to hear about Matt. For good reason too - dude does some awesome work. The work is timely and quality. After going to far too many car meets, seeing his work - i had to try him for myself - especially as major engine work was imminent.

Kim's customer service is fantastic. From initial contact to vehicle delivery, she made sure to stay in contact, and let me know what the status was.

I dropped it off for diagnosis in the morning, and had a response back by mid afternoon, lovely, quick turn around time. During my phone call after diagnosis - they made sure that i had a solid understanding of what the results were - and options they could present on how to proceed. She was able to help me work around my budget to get my car's build foundation and ready to build on. They helped clear up any questions very quickly, gave solid build recommendations, and a route to take as the build progresses. Response time was awesome, as my job limits me to use digital means of communication rather than phone.

I'm typically someone who likes to service their own car or service it with friends. I think insomnia may have changed this.

My subaru hasn't ran better, and i have the peace of mind that the best in the business has had his hands on it - and that everything is done correctly.

TL;DR

Insomnia is great to work with! They give solid advice and are very knowledgeable in their field.

Insomnia Motorsports is the best shop I’ve ever been to. Great and honest mechanics are hard to find and Matt is exactly that and more. They have worked on 3 of my cars and exceeded my expectations by a long shot, especially with my latest project. Matt is straight up with you and doesn’t try to upsell parts you don’t need unlike other shops do. Great communication, amazing and fast work are some of the few characteristics that make Insomnia the best shop around. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to work on my cars. This is the shop to go to when you have a problem and need it taken care of immediately. I recently purchased a 2011 WRX and took it to Matt and Kim to get it checked out. To date they have helped me with a pinched axle seal, oil change, O2 sensor, intercooler coupler replacement, cat-back exhaust replacement and most recently a clutch replacement that they got it done in a day.

Matt is very knowledgeable and explains step by step about everything he did to repair your vehicle. And Kim works with you to get you the most competitive estimate to get your vehicle back on the road.

I’ll be bringing my vehicle back to insomnia for service. Just hoping that it won’t be anything major for awhile.
