4/5/25 visit update: I’m really disappointed to be updating my review like this, especially after such a great first visit just a few months ago. Unfortunately, my most recent experience was the complete opposite.
The technician who did my pedicure didn’t say a single word to me—no greeting, no check-ins, nothing. She dropped the foot scrubber on the floor (where it clearly picked up hair and debris) and still tried to use it on me. I had to stop her and ask for a clean one. I also let her know before the pedicure started that I wanted regular polish, but she proceeded to apply gel anyway.
Even more uncomfortable, she wore her long hair down, and it repeatedly brushed against my feet during the massage—completely unhygienic. When she finished, she simply told me to wait 10 minutes for the polish to dry and walked away. No thank you, no acknowledgment. Moments later, I watched her warmly greet a new customer—who happened to be of a different racial background than me—offer her a beverage, and engage in friendly conversation. None of that was offered to me.
It was incredibly disappointing and honestly felt like a completely different salon from the one I visited the first time.
Initial review: I was very impressed with my experience at Paris Nail Bar today. I received the Classique Pedicure with gel polish and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel so welcome. I loved that my pedicure wasn’t rushed—they were very thorough with the exfoliating scrub and massage. As a first-time customer, I received 10% off, and I really like that they have a loyalty program with stamp cards! The salon itself is also absolutely beautiful....

I spoke up for myself 4x stating the work did not look good. I originally arrived for pedicure and full set nails.
I notified the acrylic big toes were laid very heavy and did not have a smooth transition from my cuticle.
I noticed my toes were filed slanted to the right in the direction the nail tech heads was leaning.
And I notified I have full healthy nails there’s no reason why my nails should be filed narrow appearing as chipped. My nail lengths are different sizes.
Each time I’m being spoken of in front of my face. It’s okay to be frustrated but that should not be for my to witness as a client. I am just a frustrated.
I told the male I am okay with where the work is and I would like to leave. He asked if I would like to reschedule.
I said let’s speak in the front as a dark woman I don’t want to appear as causing a scene but the work was poor.
At the front. I showed all flaws of the nails. The nail tech said it was my duty to speak up and request new acrylic toes. I told him it’s not about the money my card will tender.
I stayed this acrylic two is 2 weeks old they filed it down much more than needed.
I told him I will pay because I don’t want to appear as I’m causing a scene but this is poor work and I will still have to pay another nail tech to do it right + personal loss of time.

Read moreIt was okay. I came asking for for builder gel extensions that uses stickers. It wasn't obvious they were not sure how to do it though they had the items. I am very patient and have a hard time telling people that I expected better. Either way I was gracious and went through with it since the shapeand design did come out okay(wasnt trying to be very picky). But when I looked at what they ended up charging for the nail design, I just wish it was more up front. I was charged twice for this nail design and it was explained it because I got ombre and the flower. I will add the design I expected and what I got. It wasn't meant to be 3d like this(not my usual style) but I didn't want to be a bother and said nothing. Until they showed me the bill. They charged me for every single things and my nails are not long to have spent $230! No way. I will find another nail spa because there are others that do not do this. And if they do its never this much. Wow.
Im not rating lower than this because I dont have the heart. I appreciate fellow business owners like myself that work hard and it is not easy to please everyone. That's why I didn't ask to bother them with details on my nails that I really wanted more of.
