Living in RTP area for around 10 years, I am a foodie, love to explore new restaurants, new menu items, I tried all the Indian restaurants around the RTP, so thought of writing a review for Adda Bistro.
What is the best thing I love from Adda Bistro ? Quantity and Quality of food - It seems they are new to business :) , they give abundant quantity of food for the price you pay. so when you order food plan accordingly.
Which Item I tried , tasted , loved from Adda Bistro? #1 - Tried Non Veg Thalli (Mouth watering delicious starter (Peshwari Kebab) , Dum Rice, Chicken Curry) - worth for every penny you pay, easily two people can share unless you are super hungry.
#2 - Tried Street Style Veggie Fried Rice - Brings you the golden memories of your home country (Smell, taste, they put lot of veggies) - Owner of Adda recommended it and we loved it.
#3 - Tried Chicken Biriyani - My American friend loved the food
#4- Tried Egg Biriyani - My wife and son loved it , most of the places they put lot of gravy which spoils the taste of biriyani, Adda bistro perfectly blended Dum rice with herbs
#5 - Catering - Dosa is not on thier catalog, on a special request, we had Adda bistro catered "live in-person dosa stall" for our cousin's 50th Birthday and it was the best memory we had all the guest loved it. Everyone tried 4-5 different types of dosa (Onion, Rava, Cheese, Masala Dosa, Plain Dosa) - Again the chutney, sambar, potato masala was abundant quantity for the price we paid. "They gave best price and I can challenge no other place you can get that price."
You will never be disappointed trying at...
Read moreI had made an order for paneer gongura bucket biryani on the phone and they confirmed my order and said it would be $29.99 without tax and $32.10 with tax but online in their own website it shows the price as $26.99 without tax, while picking up my order I asked them about why are they charging me extra they had no answer a boy and an other employee tried to check and found the mistake and called a lady and pointed out the price mistake but she was so reluctant saying this is not our website this, that and when the other employee showed her the price on their very own website she was absolutely so careless and rude saying yes we will charge $29.99 we don’t care about the price on the website. Is that so! Wow!! you guy’s just charge people any price when ever you want. This is a very poor way of doing business. Well all the customers should beware and be cautious as what are they charging you. Please do compare their price displayed and what they charge you. Well I just did not take my order, the way the lady replyed was as if she was giving it for free or it was my only choice. Well it is just a matter of $3 but their is a proper way to talk to the customers, which I am sure she is not aware of. Will never return back to adda after this experience we do have many many other choices with good...
Read moreMy husband and I had about an hour to kill, so thought we’d get something to eat at this place. We were attracted by the nice outdoor seating area and thought it would be a good way to spend the time.
We were in for a rude shock though. When I opened the door and entered the restaurant, the manager (or host or whatever) was walking around talking on the phone and, without even bothering to see who was entering through the door, very casually and rudely waved me towards the welcome booth. We overlooked that as a misunderstanding and asked if we dine-in was available, and if we could sit outside, to which he responded quite rudely that the outside seating was “not open”. Don’t know what he meant by that because it looked quite open to me, and I have seen on other days people sitting there, but they were probably his cronies or the owner’s friends. Maybe it was the VIP section, who knows…. Should’ve asked if bottle service was available.
Well, that did for me. We left, it seemed to the relief of the manager.
This place sucks. It seems to me they don’t know how to behave respectfully towards a female customer.
I’m never going back there again, and will be telling all my friends about...
