I’m new to town and live on the east side, but have no problem driving to west Casper to shop at Smith’s.
They have a good selection of deli items and decently priced meats. On the other hand they over charged on things like Tillamook extra sharp cheddar which I can find for five bucks cheaper at Smith’s.
But the reason for my two star review is the extremely poor customer service, especially from this red headed lady who works in deli. She was the first employee I encountered upon entering Smith’s and one of the reasons why I’ll no longer shop here. I complained to a manager about her attitude and how she thinks having to serve customers is a nuisance, and I’m hoping my complaint didn’t fall on deaf ears.
Considering the quality of the deli over Walmart and the closeness to my house, I’d love to give this place more tries. But man that experience with that deli lady was a real turnoff and my coworkers have all said they’ve encountered the same...

Their perks program actually gives decent fuel discounts. They do have a few self-checkout stations but seem to have plenty of full service checkout lanes open when I am there, and I am glad they're staffed to accommodate this, however, I did think it was strange that there were numerous employees kind of standing around with nothing to do. The fuel center hours are somewhat limited, but they consistently have the lowest fuel...

I rarely shop here unless I need something small like a lime. and even then I usually walk out 4/5 times without what I wanted and still have to go to Albertson's The one on the other side of town went out of business because they had competition from ALbertson's and Smiths which are in the same neighborhood. This one says in business because there are no close markets, but they are always out of everything, the quality sucks, You have to be a member or remember your card to get their sales price and they are always understaffed. Please drive the extra five miles so they go out of business and we can get a real market on the...
