I have been buying a lot of gear for this season there $$$$. I recently decided to get a sitka traverse hoodie their price $219. Scheels price $164. Price matching experience is so strict it took two different employees to verify the camo pattern, style, size and when they figured it out they were trying to match product codes. (Most sites don't have product codes) The process is deceiving and I could have ordered the jacket online for lower price while waiting for them to honor the price matching. As a business owner in retail you either honor the price match or don't, it's that simple. They honored the price match after 45 minutes. Later that day I tried to fit this piece under my hunting jacket. It was a tad too big. I decided it's worth a shot to try to exchange it for a tighter fitting mid layer. The very next day I went back and simply wanted to exchange the item for a size L. Cashier advised me to grab the correct size and when all the exchange return paperwork was done they wanted to charge me full price difference, rather than going through the rigorous price matching scrutiny and wasted time I returned it and probably won't ever buy sitka at sportsman's ever. Your better off with free markets of the internet and save the hassle, drive and time...
Read moreI made a purchase for $105.00 at this store and sportsman's warehouse double charged me. This normally isn't a problem with most other retail stores, but they have been fighting me on issuing a refund for my money for the last 4 days. Between my family, my friends and I we have spent thousands of dollars at this store every year. I am very unimpressed by the managements response to what should be an easy fix. I have talked to the district manager, customer service and store managers. All have told me something different but none of them will issue a refund of my money. Today is 4/11/2018 and this is still on going. I am suggesting to all of my friends and family, and anyone who reads this to stop shopping here. At the end of the day its not about the money its the principle of the matter. Sportsman Warehouse took $105.00 from me and I have nothing to show for it. I have had to spend hours at my bank and on the phone with them fighting to get what is rightfully mine back. As a loyal customer of more than ten years I honestly expected more out of...
Read moreWe were visiting family in Wyoming and drove to Casper. My husband bought some things in the Sportsman's Warehouse and we then headed to Riverton, after visiting a couple other stores. On the way to Riverton, he realized his credit card was not in his wallet. An employee there, Layton, told my son that he did have the credit card and would be sending it back to her home in California. He did exactly that and when I asked him where to send the $9 that was owed the store for postage, He said it was no problem, and the store would take care of it. I thanked him very much and told him I would write a review, because he had done the right thing and the store was nice enough to get our card back to us. It's like a ray of sunshine to see a business care so much and go out of their way to help a customer, especially one who lives far away and would have just assumed that that it was lost if it hadn't been sent back. Thank you very much to the Sportsman's Warehouse in Casper Wyoming and to, Layton, a...
