NEVER GO TO THIS STORE. I have gotten 4 piercings previously here... Once I got jewelry for my ears, which I thought was metal or was told was medical grade stainless steal, or high quality of some kind. I wore them for a few days and the earrings got embedded into my ear. Had to remove it. Cant wear earrings. The other day, I came in to get snakebites, and also got some studs for my nostril piercings. They sold me the wrong size and it was so much bigger I genuinelly could not get them in my nose! They exchanged it for free, thankfully. But that was still upsetting. Also, whenever I have jewelry from here in my nostril piercings they always fall out in my sleep. I have had a nose hoop break in my sleep. The piercer for my snakebites was insanely rude and unprofessional. I believe she gave me too short of a bar for my piercing. She told me to do all these things for aftercare, which I did perfectly and consistently. Also to only eat soft foods like mac n cheese / noodles. Today I was eating noodles which are soft, and accidentally bit the piercing. Because the length of the bar, it got pulled inwards and got stuck INSIDE OF MY LIP. I could not get it out. It was bleeding badly. My mom called, they said I could come in and get it taken out and have a longer bar put in for free. I come in and have to wait forever. When she finally comes in to help me, she looks at my piercing and looks at it in disgust and shock. Then she goes to put her fingers in my mouth and I assumed that would be to look at it, but without warning she forced the piercing through my lip. It hurt worse then the piercing itself! Then she took the ball off, changed ONLY ONE of the piercings to a longer bar. She then lectured me and was rude to me about aftercare, when I did everything exactly as told. I kept telling her that and she kept just blaming me. Even though it is her fault for piercing me with a bar so short it caused this kind of injury. She then rushed me out. This event was insanely traumatic, unprofesional, and painful. Never coming here again, refuse to let anybody I know come here either. I would rate 0/5...
Read moreIt's a really unique and neat little store, I used to love visiting on my lunch break...I would give them 5 stars If they didn't train their associates to basically bum rush you when you get In the store?
If you don't know what you want is almost like you are immediately suspect? Some of us who have social challenges would prefer to be able to enter a store and not be immediately questioned or followed under the guise of them being "helpful" ...
I mean it's understandable if someone is meandering for a long length of time and not buying anything to them ask them if they need help...the immediate door ambush might be helpful to some, but the energy is so obviously not what they are portraying.
It doesn't make sense for most shoppers and for the kind of store they are for someone to know what they want or even want to be asked that immediately upon entering . It's weird.
example: They Immediately ask you what your looking for of which I don't often know, I just want to browse? I really don't.know most of the time, theres A LOT to look at...I like to browse on break, get ideas etc. They seem to expect everyone to be stealing by the way in which they watch you, it's just really uncomfortable.
I don't feel comfortable just enjoying the ambiance and looking around anymore. I don't know if they've had a serious issue with theft or what, if so, I mean I guess I get it...but it would make more sense to install security cameras in my opinion ...versus making customers uncomfortable.
Just my 2 cents, they have lovely team members and are a great establishment over all! I hope they...
Read moreExtremely rude customer service. I got a piercing a few months ago and shop there on occasion for their knick knacks and usually the snooty behavior from some of the staff is tolerable. However today I was flabbergasted by the treatment I received. When I first got my piercing, the piercer assured me that she would help me change it when I got new jewelry for the first time. I called in advance to make sure this would be ok and the person who answered the phone said they'd be glad to help. However, when I went to the counter and asked the older woman if she could ask the piercer to help me when she was free, she became instantly rude when she found out that I bought my own jewelry. She even told me that if I didn't want to support small businesses, I could have amazon change my piercing for me. When I told her that was incredibly rude she doubled down and even denied being rude in the slightest, again saying that I have a responsibility to support local businesses. I didn't bother mentioning that I support her business frequently and just left with no plans on returning. Immediately after, I went to another local piercer and they were glad to help me change my jewelry, even though I didn't originally get my piercing there or buy new...
