Great Wall Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Cedar Falls

Huge problem. I ordered chicken lo mein, which is noodles, they asked me if I wanted a combo, with a side of ragoon or eggroll. I said eggroll. I understand I'm ordering from an authentic Chinese restaurant, but I'm alergic to rice, and they sent lo mein on one half and fried rice on the other. If I wanted any kind of rice I would have ordered rice, I even told the guy who spoke perfect English and delivered my food I didn't want rice. I tried calling back and being polite, and explaining the situation, but unfortunately the person answering the phone didn't understand basic English and hung up on me. I don't want to cause problems, but they better hope I don't have a reaction for even touching the box. Way to handle your mess up by being rude to someone who could make this more serious. I call and order all the time and get lo mein noodles for my father because of his esophagus cancer... well tonight all of a sudden I got rice instead...I called to let them know they and a mistake only to be told how we had some conversation that hasn't happened in 3 years because I know i costs extra already... instead of offer even an apology they wanted to tell me I'm wrong... first of I'm the customer I'm always right... second I've been in customer service before for 12 years and this is not at all how you handle things.... he was very rude and tried to say I was cussing him out and the whole time I used sir to approach him or answer him...I will not be...

To start it took ten minutes for the employees to even realize that we were at the counter and ready to order. Secondly this is a liquor and tobacco store that happens to serve food. The store was dirty and filled with flies. The bathroom didn't have toilet paper. They were kind enough to have a couple large tables with a mix match of chairs. Once we got our order in then it didn't take long for them to prepare our food and get it to us. We didn't stay and brought it home. The food itself was mediocre at best.
