Looked like a vibrant coffee shop, very busy, which is good. I ordered a coffee and a breakfast egg & bacon croissant. I asked if they wanted my name, and they didn't. So waiting for my order, there was an iced drink on the pick-up spot...young man puts a coffee order, not sure if coffee or a latte'...he mumbled something which no one can hear. I waited about 15 seconds, no one made a move for it, so I went up and asked the young man, "is this the light roast?" He says yeah, so I took it. Then a few minutes later, now about five people standing and waiting, not including a few seated waiting...the young man sets a take out box for a sandwich (I was asked if I am eating in or take out, I said in). Again he mumbles and turns away...one lady grabs it, opens it, shuts it. As I get up another guy gets up and grabs it, opens it and shuts it. My turn, I open it and it looks like mine, so I take it to my table. I take a bite and I am like, where is the bacon? So I lift up the top and no bacon. So I take it up to the counter and said I think this someone else's and I had taken a bite and there was no bacon. He pipes and says, no, it has bacon. The food can be a bit pricey depending on what you get, but the quiche and a lot of the pastries are fabulous. It's often crowded and loud at this location, so it's not always comfortable to stay there for long. They often do community events and lit readings, and they support local artists by hanging their for-sale art on the walls. The baristas, with the exception of one in particular, have always been friendly, prompt, and professional. A really great coffee shop and much better than Starbucks or Caribou, even though it might cost a...

The quiche is also very good (both the bacon cheddar and spinach tomato muenster). I tried a breakfast croissant today, and I'm not a huge fan of the croissants they use.
The building echoes quite a bit and the seating can be limited, so I wouldn't recommend going there to study if noise bothers you, but that being said, plenty of people seem to do it. I really like the music they...
