Park: The pavilion is clean, has a bunch of picnic tables, electricity on the north and south side, grills on the north and south side, and access to a few restrooms. There are soccer fields, volleyball courts, basketball courts, a large outdoor play space for kids. There's a pretty decent walking trail. The park feels like it has a lot to offer, and I'm not sure what else I would want. It's easy to book a space with the city and every time I go here I seem to have a really good time. At one point the grills had started to run out from the bottom, on either side of the pavilion. But, I'm happy to report they have recently been replaced with new grills that are in great condition.
Pool: Pool is heated, clean, and well kept. The staff had some issues registering me for a pool pass. It took almost an hour, and in the end the credit card reader never worked, but the life guard who was helping me was kind enough through the process. Read moreBeen a Cedar Park resident since 1990. Bought one of the original Millburn homes & diligently paid the Mud taxes, Homeowners dues, and paid for that park probably 5x over. My boys played soccer on that field and the amount of support I’ve offered for that community is unsurpassed.
Apparently driving your drones over it, running your screaming screeching airplanes & horseshiiiit noisemakers is okay, but pitching a few golf balls off of the soccer field in areas unoccupied is FORBIDDEN.
I’ll remember this the next election, the next time I get that email asking for donations to support another project.
I’m pretty sure that park was built and paid for by the homeowners and Millburns. That the city maintains it is fine, so I hope they get over there and run the trash that drinks liquor out there, smokes weed in it and occasionally drives their vehicles across it.
I’m done with you....
