I've hesitated writing this review yet felt it was important for others to know. There are 5 things that went wrong....I finally got my hair colored after over a yr letting it go "natural" aka Grey. I had an event coming up so decided to jump in & do it. I I had scheduled an appt and when I arrived the person I was scheduled with informed me she specializes in color so someone else will cut my hair. (I have no complaints on the haircut - it was done very nicely). I showed the person about 5 pictures of my hair color / style that I wanted. It was past pictures of myself not pictures from a magazine. I assumed I was dealing with someone that could look at the picture and get a good idea of the color I had used in the past which was a red-ish brown/blond. 1st issue: Well she kept asking me questions to which I got confused and said yes to burgundy vs red. Now that was my partially my fault because I said yes. But that is where it went all down hill from there. 2nd issue) she did my hair a DARK burgundy that wasn't a consistent color throughout either that I actually cried when I saw it. She was nice and said we can fix it..... I told her I had done highlights in the past to help the transition of the grey growing out so that there was blond next to the grey. Well she said she would put in highlights - when she did, (3rd issue) she didn't pay attention at all to how I part my hair - which I told her as well so highlights were not placed where I part & she even made a comment "we can fix that next time". Not only that, (4th issue) when she put on the blond she teased my hair up so there was a distinct area of burgundy hair then the blond so as my hair grows out, it becomes VERY apparent that I have grey roots. Then to top off this, (5th issue) I had booked on-line which lists hair cut 47+ and all over color 73+. she stated my hair would be an extra bowl of color so $25 more - then when I'm not happy she says she won't charge me for the highlight - just the bowls - so this disaster of a haircut cost me about $240. I was very vulnerable dealing with some major personal issues so just to get out for more than an hr was not a small feat & have regretted going there everyday I look at my hair. I did give 2 stars because the haircut was...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI've been to this location a couple times & each time I LOVE the stylist & the cut. This time I cut my super longggg hair hair (past my lower back) with Bethany G. and the hair cut was fine but when blow drying my hair she put 0 product in my hair to heat protect it & nothing in it after blow drying. For a$70 Hair cut I expected the minimum to at least put SOME product in my hair considering all the other times i've visited this salon they've done that. This I can forgive, it truly isn't a BIG deal (even though it was a super slow Saturday.) but prior to cutting my hair I was asked by her & another stylist if i'd like to donate my hair. I said yes because it's a good amount of hair. The last time I came to do the same thing they gladly donated my hair at this location but at the end of this appointment she tells me as i'm paying that they actually do not donate hair. She gave me my hair back in a bag & told me I can donate it at another salon. Not sure why I was even asked then & why I wasn't told this prior to cutting my hair. I'd have gone to another location to begin with if this is how the process was going to be. I truly enjoyed coming to this location in the past but I will not be returning again. Thanks for everything...

Today at my appointment we discussed the options and came up with a plan. She added subtle highlights to give some dimension and break up the color. While I was there I asked her if she could give me a haircut. I walked out feeling fresh and happy.
I went in to have my hair colored. I told the stylist, who is fairly new, I was extremely nervous because she was newer and I normally do my research before using someone since Iāve had a lot of bad experiences. We picked out a color and it was supposed to be medium/light brown, a subtle change and not far off from my original color pictured below. I walked out with almost black hair. She even admitted that it wasnāt the same color we picked out. I have washed it with clarifying shampoo twice like she suggested and it is still extremely dark. I am too embarrassed to even wear my hair down now because it looks unnatural. The holidays are coming up and I am dreading it. The picture on the right is my original color and the new color wasnāt supposed to be far off from that. I still had to pay $105 for a color I...
