This Museum is definitely small however we knew that going in and were not expecting a huge interactive Museum. Knowing that this was a small Museum due to the fact that they are fairly new and growing was an appeal for us because we wanted to support them. My kids have been to larger Museums several times and they still had a blast here! We originally went for the King Tut exhibit however it was no longer there but after I told the staff how obsessed my daughter was with Egypt the woman running the planetarium show catered to her and incorporated some facts about Egypt. My favorite part of this experience was how dedicated and passionate the staff was about providing the best experience for our whole family. Every one was extremely nice and informative I feel that the staff made this experience more personal than I have ever experienced from the larger Museums. We were thankful for the opportunity to support this place and I encourage those who want to have a larger Museum available in their community to do the same so that they can continue to expand. I have no doubt that this facility will continue to improve and grow, we will definitely return if we find ourselves in the area again! Thank you to all of the staff for your dedication to providing this experience and education to families and for exceeding our...
Read moreHonestly, to call this a Planetarium and a science museum is misleading. It is neither. At best it is an IMAX movie and not a very good one at that. The female employee who set up the movie was very concerned that everyone not adjust the chaise lounge type chairs we were in because they would break. She said this several times. When the first film unexpectedly stopped, her reaction was a loud "oh sh**". I was shocked. She warned us in advance that the feature was a Russian film with Russian
subtitles but was narrated in English. She also warned us the there was a depiction of a full female nude. Yes it was artistic but hardly appropriate to be seen by children visiting a planetarium. I had my 2 little nephews aged 5 an 7 with me. Can it truly be this was the only film they could find? The other film was a long advertisement on the dangers of light pollution. Overall a very disappointing trip.An episode of Bill Nye the Science Guy would have been more entertaining. End result.... if you're expecting a show at a planetarium you will be very disappointed.

Read moreThis is the first step to a world-class Science Museum and Planetarium in Central Texas. Given its unique location in a business park, I didn't have high expectations (or even knew the team behind this new museum). When we walked in, the lobby needs some work to make us feel like we walked into an actual museum, but once inside, it exceeded our expectations. Think of this more like an awesome Planetarium that has some neat science experiments surrounding it and you'll have a great time. We were fortunate enough to catch a special presentation in the Planetarium by the founder of the museum, where he was demonstrating some incredible software to a special group of people. We were blown away by what we learned. I thought I knew a lot about space, but every stop in this "journey through space" presentation, I learned something new. It was a lot of fun. I spoke with the founder after the show and he explained that this museum is the first step towards raising more funds. I encourage others to visit this fantastic new space. There are Groupons available right now which...
