Raju Gari Kodi Pulav? More like Raju Gari Red Chilli Disaster. I don’t know what culinary crime I just tasted, but this so-called Raju Gari Kodi Pulav was nothing short of a trainwreck. The moment I opened the box, all I could smell was raw red chilli powder, and sadly, that’s all I could taste too. There was zero depth of flavor – no aroma of ghee, no subtle spices, no richness from slow-cooked meat. Just dry, bland rice mixed with chunks of chicken that tasted like it was boiled separately and tossed in as an afterthought. The red chilli powder was overpowering, not in a spicy-but-flavorful way, but in a “let’s burn your mouth and throat without giving any real taste” way. There was no masala balance, no fragrance of curry leaves or whole spices, and certainly no sense of authenticity. Whoever cooked this just dumped chilli powder and rice in a pot and called it a day. It felt lazy, rushed, and completely disrespectful to what should be a flavorful, slow-cooked Andhra delicacy. Even I tried gobi 65 pulav, rice is good but gobi is raw just fried a bit in oil. No salt no spice or anything. I sent this back for re-do. Shawarma, tea , bun muska are good. **** Bro cheidam vaste manchiga cheyandi, rakapothe nerchukoni cheyandi. Just like that maku edo intlo leka tinadaniki vachamu anattu edi padithe adi pettoddu plz. You can see similar reviews for todays chicken items.

I recently tried the rumali roti and shadi red chicken curry combo, priced at approximately $17. While I had high hopes for an authentic and satisfying meal, the experience fell short of expectations, primarily due to the portion size and value for money. The rumali roti, priced at $4, was soft and thin, as expected but the real disappointment, was the shadi red chicken curry, which carried the bulk of the combo’s cost at $14. For that price, I anticipated a hearty portion with a robust curry and ample chicken. Unfortunately, the curry contained only three small pieces of chicken, which felt shockingly inadequate for the price. The curry itself had a decent flavor, with a rich, spicy profile typical of a red chicken curry, but the sparse quantity of chicken made it difficult to fully enjoy the dish. The rumali roti alone, while reasonably priced, didn’t compensate for the lackluster curry portion. I’ve included a picture of the meal for reference, which clearly shows the minimal chicken pieces in the curry. Overall, this combo was not worth the price, and I’d hesitate to recommend it to others unless the restaurant addresses the portion size and pricing concerns.

I recently visited Desi Circle and had such a wonderful experience that I had to share. The ambience is warm and welcoming, with a nice mix of traditional and modern touches that make it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a good meal. The food was the real highlight, full of authentic Indian flavors that reminded me of home. I tried the Paneer Mandi for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and unique it was. The Juicy Chicken Lollipop Mandi lived up to its name tender, well-marinated, and absolutely delicious. One of the best parts for me was discovering chai and malai bun here, something I’ve been searching for around Austin. The chai was rich and comforting, and the malai bun was fresh, soft, and just perfect. We also enjoyed Pani Puri, which was fresh and tangy - everything you’d expect from a good street-style snack. The Mutton Malai Kebab was another favorite, soft, creamy, and full of flavor.Overall, Desi Circle is a great spot if you’re looking for authentic Indian food with a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in or around Austin!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Desi Circle, and I must say, it was an experience worth sharing! From the moment I stepped in till the last bite of dessert, everything was just spot-on.

The food was absolutely delicious! Every dish was cooked to perfection with authentic flavors and generous portions. The starters were crisp and flavorful, especially the “chicken 65” or “paneer tikka”. The main course offered a variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and everything tasted fresh and home-style yet professionally prepared. The desserts were the perfect end to a wholesome meal — not overly sweet, just right.

The ambience was elegant yet cozy. The décor had a modern touch with subtle lighting, clean tables, and comfortable seating. It’s perfect for families, friends, and even casual business meetups. Soft background music added to the relaxing environment without being overwhelming.

The staff were extremely courteous and attentive. From the moment we entered, we were warmly welcomed and guided to our table. They were knowledgeable about the menu and quick to respond to any requests. Their professionalism made the experience even more enjoyable.

Despite the place being moderately crowded, the service was prompt. We didn’t have to wait long between courses, and the billing process was smooth and efficient. Everything was well-organized and managed seamlessly.

One of the best parts of this restaurant is its wide variety. Whether you’re a vegetarian, meat lover, or someone who loves trying different cuisines, there’s something for everyone. Their menu ranges from traditional South Indian and North Indian dishes to some exciting continental and Chinese options.

The pricing is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food offered. It’s great value for money, and they also offer combo meals and family packs that are budget-friendly without compromising on taste or portion size.

The restaurant maintained excellent hygiene standards. Tables were cleaned promptly, the washrooms were tidy, and the kitchen area (visible partly from the counter) looked well-maintained. Sanitizers were available at the entrance and staff wore clean uniforms and masks.

Whether you’re planning a casual lunch, a family dinner, or a special celebration, Desi Circle is definitely a place worth visiting. Great food, wonderful ambience, professional service, and unbeatable value — it ticks...

BEST HIDDEN GEM FOR STREET FOOD LOVERS! I stumbled upon this place after watching one of their reels on Instagram—and let me tell you, it more than lived up to the hype! From the moment I stepped in, the hospitality was absolutely heartwarming. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and were incredibly attentive throughout the visit, making the whole experience feel like a cozy visit to a friend’s home. 💛

Now let’s talk food—because that’s what truly stole the show! 😍

🍽️ I came mainly for their evening snacks, and each bite was a trip down memory lane:

Punugulu, Bajji,Bonda which are just the right amount of crunch with soft potato filling inside. Pure bliss! 🤤

The flavors were so authentic, it felt like I was back in the streets of South India. Every item had that home-cooked touch while still being restaurant-quality. They definitely don’t cut corners on freshness or spices. 🌶️

The ambience was clean, lively, and filled with the aromas of fresh food being made. It’s the perfect stop for an evening snack or even a casual chill-out with friends or family.

💬 If you're craving true Indian-style snacks that remind you of home—or just want to try something new that bursts with flavor—this is your spot. Highly recommend following their Instagram too, because their reels aren’t just aesthetic… they’re accurate! 🙌

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Will definitely be coming back again…...
