An Unforgettable Experience at Firestone on 1431
I’ve been coming to Firestone on 1431 since 2005, and honestly, no words can fully capture how much this team means to me. They aren’t just mechanics or managers they are angels disguised in uniforms, the kind of people who restore your faith in humanity when life feels overwhelming.
There have been moments when I walked through those doors, worn down by life and with tears in my eyes, worried about my car, but every time, without hesitation, they looked me in the eye and said, “We got you. You’re not alone. We’re here to help you, not take from you.” That promise isn’t just a tagline—it’s a lifeline.
Justin, Matt, Eric, old school Joe, everyone is incredibly thank you for treating me like family, for showing kindness when I needed it most, and for turning a simple car repair into a profound act of grace. You have been a steady light through every storm, and I am forever grateful.
In 2025, I celebrate 20 years of loyalty not because it’s convenient, but because of the heart and soul you pour into everything you do. Firestone on 1431 isn’t just a shop it’s a sanctuary of respect, honesty, and unwavering support.
To anyone reading this: If you want a place where you’re truly valued and cared for, this is it. Firestone on 1431 is a blessing, a rare gem in this world. Thank you for being my rock. You deserve every award, every recognition, and every bit of love this...
Read moreThis a hidden and tucked away dirt trail that takes you along the river, over the river and to the small waterfall through the forest. The trail is stealthily tucked behind the bank, coffee place and some apartment buildings. It's also a bike trail with a few ramps. There are no signs for the park though, so you just have to know where you're going. I've included a photo of the entrance to make it easier for you. The trail starts just behind the UFCU bank. It's about a ~30 minute walk around the trail.
Spottings: Plants - thistles, bluebonnets, Queen Anne's lace, shameplants (touch-me-nots). Birds - Northern cardinals, Carolina chickadees, mockingbirds and lesser goldfinches. ETC - several fossilized shells alongside the...
Read moreThis is a fun trail and in many ways very different from the other local trails. First, you can easily get lost on your first time in. It is heavily wooded with lots of slalom sections. There are also some crazy wooden jumps and other added features to make it fun...
