Normally, mead by today's standards is often sweet and has an emphasis on fruit, so it can be difficult to find a more traditional mead because of what is currently popular. Manic has both; the only one I didn't enjoy was the Apple Pyser, but I am not a huge fan of extreme sweetness or cinnamon in any of my drinks. The sweet one I did enjoy is called Blacklisted (14% ABV), a black raspberry mead named after a local tattoo shop that did the art for the bottle. I must say, the artwork on that bottle is something I'd frame in my house. The two traditional meads I tried, the Nordic Trinity and the Nordic Quad, are boozy and may be a lot to take for people that haven't had anything like it, but that is how they're supposed to be. I really enjoyed both of them and I ended up getting a 750ml bottle of the Trinity (18% ABV) for $25. Both of the servers, Hailey and Rob, were very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed Hailey's music choice and Rob was very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who asked. Read moreUpdated review 10/2021. I have been here several times since it has opened. Every flavor I have tried is like a cosmic flavor explosion in my mouth 🤩. Another reviewer said they have more traditional meads with less emphasis on fruit, I agree with that review. However, there are different types of flavors, sweetness, and dryness for you to try.
This should definitely be on a brochure of things to do in northwest IN! I recommend for meetings, dates and a peaceful day or night outing. It does get busy of the weekends but is not an obnoxious bar type atmosphere.
Just PLEASE be sure to have a ride or an über because they stuff is STRONG! It sneaks up on you, but personally gives me a happy feeling. (Unlike most alcohol, mead is one of the only things I can tolerate as far as alcohol goes these days!)
Staff is super friendly, knowledgeable and prompt. Treat yourself to “the nectar of the gods”!...
Read moreGoogled winery 🍷 in the surrounding area , if Fair Oaks . Went there i went inside to ask if children , could come in . It was Sunday night and almost closing. And a blood orange cider.

So as I can't rate the product, I definitely can rate the service from the lil guy in the round glasses. I would not recommend wasting my time like I...
