Board & Brush Creative Studio- Crown Point — Local services in Center Township

This was my 5th time doing a board and brush workshop, (the other 4 times were at a different studio) . This was my first experience that was negative. My stencils were not prepared correctly, they were in two pieces for each of the outer pieces which made the project not work because when the second stencil was attached it did not line up, and it was not an overlay or anything, it was a 1 part project. Bottom line if the project cannot be prepped correctly it should not be an offering. All in all the staff was nice and tried to help but I am so disappointed that I wasted my time and money and something that will probably end up...

I felt very rushed, the instructors instructions were all over the studio, look here, there.. everywhere.. at one point I was distressing and was told if I didn’t stop it would NOT dry in time for the next step... a staff member started to help people at our table remove stencil pieces so quickly that they are now smeared, and sloppy looking, I left with the hanging hardware in my pocket since they started cleaning, putting away materials and setting up for the next class.. talk about hurry up and GET OUT!!! I've done board and brush three times. The first two were fantastic but last week was disappointing. The stencils myself and my girlfriend's had kept lifting, wouldn't stick and paint bled more than usual. They also had a smaller selection of glitter. My friends stencil was crooked and missing parts of letters and the girl working tried cutting and "fixing" it but hers looks terrible and she won't hang it in her home. I had a few friends go tonight and one of them agreed it was uneven and blotchy and the stencils won't stick. For the cost, material shouldn't...
