Not only do they LITERALLY takes your TICKETS, they take your money too. I was here for my daughters birthday. Started with over 1k ticket on ONE CARD. I brought up at least 7 cards (from previous visits) for the front desk to transfer all the tickets into my one MAIN card before I started the night. Reloaded JUST THE ONE so it wouldn’t get confusing. BUT since we ordered 4 kids meal today, we got 4 more cards, played it all & gained tickets on all cards. Had the front desk transfer all those tickets to my ONE MAIN card AGAIN. Why? So it wouldnt be confusing, like I’ve stated before. Reloaded the ONE card multiple times (at the front desk first, then at the machines once I realized you can reload with cash there). Spent over $200 to try & win the kids stuffed animals. Won plentiful of tickets. Went to get prizes for the kids to end the night & had around a little under 600 tickets TOTAL. Adding in the ticket cards I had in hand (from one machine that got stuck) and ended up at 900 something tickets TOTAL. HOW? Someone please explain how I started with 1k tickets on ONE card. Transferred tickets from over 10 cards, reloaded funds & won tons of tickets throughout the night only to end up at 900 something tickets? Manager came to help & says, ONLY TWO CARDS at their front desk showed history of any transfers/ticket and another had been used by somebody, hinting at the fact that somebody’s been using our funds and our points. Mind you, my father had his own card, which he did reload a few times himself. My nieces had her own card from a previous visit and had over & 4k tickets. NOT ONCE did we do any transfers between her card & mine for there to be ANY connection. My nephew shows up at the end of the night after his game and reloads his sisters card with $20 dollars to play. He swipes the card and it’s empty. Why? Because the manager thought it was okay to take that money & put it onto my card. So my question is: what if that wasn’t family? You just gonna take the money? And assume all the Asians are together? That’s racist. On top of that, how is it that you’re saying only two cards showed transfers when I brought up over 10 cards for ticket transfers? MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Also, how is it we started with 4k tickets on my nieces card, and over 1k tickets on mine, for you to say we have 6k tickets on my one main card and that’s the best you can do? Like I said, we did multiple transfers onto ONE CARD, spent 5hrs there playing and winning tickets on two main cards and all we got was 6k total between my neices card and mine COMBINED. Which remember, never had a connection to one another: So basically all the money we spent and all the tickets we won throughout the night is just GONE? Left without getting my daughter a prize for her birthday when all she wanted for her birthday was to go to Funland, play and get a big prize for herself. Thanks “Fun”land , it sure was a lot of “fun.” SMDH.
Not to mention, their machines? A lot of it just takes your money and doesn’t even start the game. So make sure, you inform your kids and the elders (if they don’t understand English well) otherwise you end up losing A LOT of money.
PS. If you’re doing transfers correctly. Your play cards should be empty, so it can be ready for the next “customer.”
Please train your employees more thoroughly.
Clearly not all reloads are at the front desk. Meaning what you see at the front desk isn’t always accurate. Clearly just because a party is together does not mean they share cards/funds/tickets too. Please make sure you’re doing things correctly before assuming and just transferring funds between cards without permission, forcing a person to lose funds to play because you couldn’t do transfers correctly. Luckily this was family and not a random stranger so I was able to just hand the card to my nephew to make sure he had his funds to play next time cause I sure as hell will it be returning. I’d hate for my reloaded funds to be transferred to a random stranger having the same issues because the manager assumed we...
Read moreI don’t know how this place has not been sued. In todays litigious world to have a zip line course as big as the one they have for any kid above 48 inches to do and not have a waiver is odd to me- we sign one for trampoline parks. Then, to have only one staff up in the air assisting kids and 4 on the ground with 1 wearing AirPods in their ears and 2 just chatting not paying attention to kids getting stuck is maddening. I brought this to managements attention and he assured me one person in the air was more than enough legally, but I still don’t think it’s best practice as I myself at 9mo pregnant couldn’t be up there with my child and witnessed myself and many parents on the ground yelling encouragement and instructions for our kids who would get stuck or be confused. Kids were running into eachother and blocking paths- and it wasn’t even that busy. When my son did the rock wall after the zip line he got stuck and there were 4 staff just chatting. When I yelled for staff to help him they didn’t hear me (again one had air pods in and I called her out on that) and I had to break into the zone just to help my child down. We then did laser tag where one guy was running it (albeit the best he could) and there was mass confusion on how to wait and play the game (aka where was the line, how long is the game, how many chips needed to play- and 0 signage) Though to note they were not slammed so the lack of supervision was even more maddening. A lot of people mentioned broken games in earlier reviews and we found that too like 40% of games were out of commission. We had intended on staying the day there but to be honest we were there maybe 2 hours and even my son was happy to leave. It has the potential to be a really cool place but management needs to retrain, reallocate and look at safety and the consumer experience. This place is a lawsuit...
Read moreHad a birthday party for a group of 15 kids. We reached about 15 minutes early to ensure everything was in order. Our host was informed who showed up in about 5 minutes and spent a few minutes at the check-in desk and then came to us to ask if we were the birthday party. She was friendly and made sure we knew what was in and what was limited (w.r.t the wrist bands). She also checked with us from time to time to make sure we had everything we needed. When it came to the final bill, a 15% charge was added as a "service charge", separate form a "sales tax". I was told I can add a gratuity in addition if I liked for the host. Upon my friend's suggestion, I asked her wasn't the 15% that was added already, gratuity. She said not all of it goes to her, but she [sic] "gets some and a few other folks get some and the company gets some" and that whatever I add at the end is she she completely gets".[sic] Just not happy about the way this company is adding gratuity to the party bills but not passing it on to the staff that deserved it.
Also, agree with another review here about only one dual-seater go-cart operating all the time. If you have multiple kids that need an accompanying adult, you are in for a loooooong time...
The food, juices, arcade, video games and the physical ones (rock climbing, micro zipline and rope courses) are all standard and kid friendly. The ticket redemption is, again, inline with most other places (where everything that is less than 500 tickets is either a few cents worth sugar candy or a piece of plastic the size of a newborn's finger). At least, in a lot of other places, the start of the show (the birthday kid) at least get's a special candy or a bigger piece of plastic. Tough luck here, despite the charges.
All in all, this is great fun for kids if invited to someone else's party here (or get an unlimited...
