I'm a very picky eater so straying away from the big name chains isn't something I do but I want to eat healthier and decided to give this place a try.
Placed an order online. Went to pick it up and I was surprised that it was ready for me upon arrival considering I arrived only eight minutes after placing the order. That's about where the positives end.
It's 11:15AM on a Friday in a bustling shopping center. As I entered the store, I noticed that it appeared clean and organized but I was the only customer in there.
I was not greeted by anyone as I approached the counter, only stared down by a young gentleman behind the counter. How awkward! Pretty sure I just missed the zombie apocalypse that happened just before I arrived.
I stated my name, was handed my order, was not thanked or wished a pleasant farewell, and so I hastily rushed out of the store before I became the meal - just kidding - I was rushing back to work.
As I get halfway down the road, I realized they didn't give me the tea I ordered. I looked at the order ticket attached to my bag and see that the beverage is not mentioned. Checked my online receipt and there it is. I was already in a rush so I said, 'screw it,' and kept driving back to work.
Get to my desk, open the container, and was dumbfounded by what was in it. Yes, it was my order of a bison burger and apple but it was only half of the smallest apple on the tree and the burger patty was smaller than my palm. Whatever... I ate it.
First bite, this burger is extremely charred. It was so charred that I couldn't taste the meat or anything else for awhile after eating it. I have never had bison before and wanted to find out what it tasted like but all I could taste was an actual volcano. Surely eating that amount of charred meat results in the opposite affect of what this chain is going for? The apple was ok.
Nonetheless, I spent $15 plus a tip - didn't get greeted, didn't get my drink, got a piece of charcoal instead of a burger, and I'm STILL hungry.
My first impression was not good and I doubt I will ever return. Now I can understand why it was so...

I'm newer to a keto/low carb diet and have been struggling to find places to go out for a bite. Imagine my excitement when I came across this place and saw this on their website: "Try our delicious meals made using fresh, seasonal ingredients with gluten-free, keto and high-protein options"!
My husband and I come in to order takeout. I ask the cashier what on the menu has a keto option. She struggles to give me an answer, leafing through some papers, and ultimately tells me I can create my own bowl with "bison as the best keto protein option". Uhhh.. okay. I instead select the sugarless BBQ burger with no bun and salmon as protein, with a side of broccoli and the berry smoothie. My husband created his own bowl.
We get home to eat .. and my burger is sitting inside a bun. Okay. My side order of broccoli was TINY and SOOO SALTY. I'm talking about inedibly salty. My husband's bowl with chicken had a whole 9 leaves of spinach, green pepper, and the kale & quinoa base which apparently is basically just rice?? And of course all of it was completely plain (no seasoning) without the added bbq sauce he got on the side.
The smoothie was decent so we'll give this place 2 stars.

Read moreMy husband I come here weekly and purchase lunches for the week. Most meals are good, but we like the xp meals and there is not a ton of variety in the freezer. It’s mostly the same Arnold in a bowl, or some pasta options. The pasta is not as filling for me and is higher in cals than I should have for lunch. We have ordered the weekly meal prep but getting xp the meals aren’t ready for pickup until Tues., meaning we still need at least 2 of the freezer meals for Mon & Tues lunch. Anyway, some of my favorites are Monterey chicken, sweet Asian beef, good for you nachos on sweet potato fries 😋 The burger bowl is really yummy too but a lot of fat and overall cals, which my macros can’t often afford.
