"Behold, Thor Odinson! Loki & the Frost Giants have escaped Asgard and have settled in Midgard in a small township named Cerritos!"
Frostbites = Frost fuhgeddaboutit!!
These are some tasty frozen treats!
Frostbites has taken over the former Blizz Frozen Yogurt spot in Landmark Square. They are still undergoing their Soft Opening with their Grand Opening date to be determined. Being a Frostbites virgin, I was enlightened by the friendly staff that I could order a sorbet chill or a sorbet cream (sorbet with an ice cream base).
I was a little overwhelmed at first, but I was given the chance to sample as many flavors & combinations that I wanted. Some flavors included passionfruit,, cherry, mango, strawberry and candy apple. Combinations included Almond Joy (coconut sorbet with a chocolate ice cream base), PB&J and Gummy Worm.
The sorbet creams are sweet & delicious! Smooth, light and pleasing to the tastebuds. I don't see why anyone would want to order the sorbet chills, when the sorbet creams form the perfect blissful marriage of flavor. The containers are similar to Dippin Dot containers with reasonable prices for an enjoyable cold treat.
Crepes are available as well for purchase on the left. Seating is plentiful, with tables and booth seating similar to Yogurtland.
Service was excellent by the cheerful Frostbites ladies.
I was impressed with my inaugural visit to Frostbites. The sorbet creams are to die for & the location is so close to where I live, I have a feeling I'll have to order elastic pants to accomodate all the extra calories I'll be packing away here.
Will I be back? You bet your sweet tookis I will!

Read moreThe service is very helpful. The servers are kind and patient. They do not try to rush you even if there are customers waiting behind you. They let you try as many flavors as you want. Also, they will help you try new things by recommending what they like to have. They have a wide selection of flavors with lots of fruit flavors such as pineapple, cherry, and passion fruit to unique ones like peanut butter, taro, and horchata. I think there's something like 16 flavors maybe more. They also sell crepes here which I have heard are very tasty and are fun to customize. The main selections are just Italian ice or Italian ice with ice cream. For ice cream they have vanilla, chocolate, and combination. They also have toppings that you can add if you want them. Some popular flavor combinations that you can ask for are PB&J, Jolly Rancher, Big Stick popsicle, Pina Colada, Mounds bar and Captain Crunch. The sizes range from small all the way up to pint and quart. Perhaps the best thing about Frostbites is the reward system. You receive one punch for items over two dollars and two punches for items over four dollars. The cool thing about Frostbites is that they take into account all items you bought in your order not just your order over all like other places do. I went to Frostbites with my family and we bought four items but I got five punches instead of the one I would get at other places. Also, you earn double punches on rainy days. Therefore it is very easy to fill up your card quickly. Once you get all ten punches you are able to get two dollars off your entire purchase on your next visit. I highly recommend you go to Frostbites the next time you...
Read moreI visited frostbites right before the end of the year and it was an amazing experience! I had only been here once before, years ago, but it’s a new favorite for sure. Firstly, they are doing a great job with enforcing covid guidelines, limited capacity, cleanliness mandatory masks, etc. There were a few people in front of me when I got there so I waited patiently outside, which wasn’t very long at all. Once inside Krystall, I believe her name was, assisted me and was extremely helpful. I’ve honestly haven’t had exceptional customer service like that in a long time. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. She offered a ton of suggestions and when I noticed someone walking in, I slightly panicked because I didn’t want to take any longer, but she was quick to assure me I could take as long as I wanted (another employee came to help the customer, don’t worry). I even noticed the employee who was helping customers with curbside pickup was very sweet.
Okay now to the actual food haha (I’m telling you, I was super impressed with their customer service) I ordered this combination that tasted like a duvalin (mexican candy); it had vanilla, taro sorbet, and cherry sorbet (I think) and it was really good! (also tasted like cake!) I love the endless possibilities here, and they also offer shakes, crepes, and other things. The price was great too and the small was a great portion size.
They have a stamp card program, and I believe you receive double stamps on rainy days! I’ll def be visiting more often. Thank you Krystall and the rest of the staff for a great...
