A gem of a place. If you are even remotely interested in Andy Wyeth, the Wyeth family, art or art history, this is a must see. The energy here is palpable, and the historians have recreated a historic landmark that is locked in the 1950s era.
It has elements of a family home, a library, and a working studio. Our guide Jo was lovely; kind, open to questions, relaxed and extremely knowledgeable. I did the Kuerner Farm first, followed by this, and I recommend you do both if possible. I haven’t been to the NC Wyeth studio yet but that’s for next time now that I’m a member and it’s included in the membership 👍🏻
Just a word of advice: you need to buy tickets in advance, and the shuttle leaves promptly, so I recommend getting to the museum and shuttle at least 15 mins early.
