The coffee and baked goods were very good. we ordered decaf americanos-When the order came - they were not decaf. There was an altercation between the owner and the staff member. Him accusing her of getting it wrong and she accusing us of ordering them incorrectly. Before leaving, I attempted to express quietly our feelings of awkwardness with the situation, rather than give a negative review. He said they strive to get all orders correct and don’t like to throw away $20 on an order. To be fair, he did apologize and expressed that he remade them. Chadds Ford Coffee house is much needed for the area and they hit it out of the park with their concept and execution. Steve and Jackie the owners are hard working and dedicated to their craft. They absolutely killed the renovations and layout of the space. The coffee and lattes are top notch and go up against any competitors in the area. Order a skinny Connor and you'll indulge in an iced latte that dreams are made of (Vanilla and White Mocha) with discrete or humble whip cream optional!
