The Great Pumpkin Carve — Attraction in Chadds Ford Township

It's best to arrive during the day to see the carving in action! We shop a little, grab something to eat, then enjoy the lit carvings! The only drawback is the lack of organization with parking. Someone yelled at me as I tried to allow a car in front of me at the exit. That buffoon should have been further in the parking area to direct those trying to get to the exit. Skip the hot chocolate at the funnel cake stand; it's watery and overpriced. Grab hot cocoa at the coffee truck. The taco stand was disappointing. It’s a nice family friendly event but we thought there would be more for the price of admission. Also, the parking staff were extremely rude and one of the them while we were crossing with our stroller told us rudely to hurry up and frantically started waving his hands. This event was a blast! So many food trucks offering delicious food and treats. Many vendors selling seasonal items. The “haunted trail” was super fun for the kids that we walked it 3 times! We all enjoyed checking out all of the amazing carved pumpkins and especially loved getting to vote for our favorites....
