Champaign County History Museum at the Historic Cattle Bank — Attraction in Champaign

Nothing expansive or fancy here ... just a couple of rooms of exhibits. But what's there is very well-presented, and gives a nice overview of the history of the county. One room is dedicated to how WWII affected Champaign County, especially at the (now-defunct) Chanute Air Base in Rantoul. That was very interesting. An excellent museum with very high quality displays produced by volunteers. Walking through the museum and looking at the displays you would think the entire place was laid out, designed and produced by professional museum designers. Well worth a visit.
