Helms park is a city water retention area that provides greenscape walking paths, homes for wildlife, and native plants. The manmade waterfalls are functional yet pleasant and beautiful. We had a curious 4 yr old along who likes to pick up everything, including a vape, a used mask, and a syringe....all of which were within a few steps of a garbage can. Over all, it's a beautiful park that the city and Army Corps of Engineers have tried to give the community while solving flooding issues. Overall it is clean.
