This is a great place to get exposed to new boards games. They have about a hundred board games that you can play in house available for anyone to come in and try. The staff was very friendly and was able to suggest a game for my whole family to play(Mysterium), which we thoroughly enjoyed. They have a nice selection of board games, dice, card sleeves, mini fig paints, and other miscellaneous items. Not the biggest selection ever but hey, support local shops rather than name brand stores. I'll come back again.

The store didn’t have fundamental D&D kits. Also, most of the game events, including Magic: The Gathering and others, have an entrance fee, even if you bring your own stuff. Staff was great, but didn’t have that community feel. Seemed more like a pay-to-participate store.

Love this place! Has a good selection of board games and also TCG(Trading Card Game) cards merch! I recently found out they have dedicated days for certain TCGs. Staff is always friendly and prices are reasonable!

I'm disappointed to report some rather negative changes here since their acquisition by Dreamer's: they seem to have become a social justice boutique, and seem to be no longer a quality business for gamers of Warhammer 40K.

Why do I say this? Based on my latest visit,

  1. They have abysmal prices. The 40K miniatures they do sell are at full MSRP, which I've never seen from any wargaming store, and this includes old 7th edition books which have little to no current value. Why would I not just buy directly from GW instead?
  2. Their selection is reasonably limited. The entire faction I play had one HQ miniature for sale, and their board game selection (the only thing that they actually had on sale for Black Friday) was lacking in every single one of the games I was looking for -- but if this is a deal-breaker, double-check this, because they may have been merely sold out from Black Friday.
  3. They seem to be vocal exponents of that popular brand of leftist bigotry which has become popular in recent years; namely, their "holiday gift drive" provided donated books only for "women and transgender inmates" of books exclusively written by African-American women and LGBTQ. Are only women and transgender inmates literate? Are they suggesting straight African-American men are illiterate, unworthy of societal investment, AND crappy writers? This sort of repugnant, hypocritical intersectional-feminist approach to social issues made me feel disgusted with myself buying the one thing I did in the end.

I can't comment on their in-store events, so I can't honestly 1-star them, but frankly, I intend to shop elsewhere for my 40K miniatures in the future and I would recommend that any 40K player...

Went in today to see if I could find a miniature so I didn’t have to use the token holders for my Runebound game. Found my self a nice looking aluminum cast dragon for it. Supper pumped right! Well you do have to glue the wings on so I grabbed some glue that to someone who dos not deal in miniatures would think would be good. Go to check out ask the lady working if this adhesive would work well? She responded with a hesitant yes. I should have knew right then to go with something different. But I tend to trust people when they have more experience then my self. I rang out and came home pumped up about making my game even more emersive! The adhesive I got won’t glue any of the metal it almost dosnt stick the metal to plastic. Held the peace’s together for like 15 minuets and all that happened is I got it all over my fingers. I tried putting some heat to it but to no avail. I have to say i liked this store but after that I feel as if I wasn’t cared about. Was just told what I wanted to hear so I’d leave. And for that 2 stars and a lost customer who likes to spend money. Was planing on getting all my painting stuff from them but I guess a 20 dollar purchase isn’t worth her time to help me the best she could. In a store like that helping people the best you can is what keeps people coming back. Just sad. Maybe this has to do with them getting bought out...

I used to like playing Digimon here, but everytime I come things just get worse... One of the workers that also plays literally raged at me because I was beating him. Like seriously we're playing a children card game and he's cussing me out. Worst experience ever... It only gets worse because in each tournament its timed, but during breaks he would take super long breaks just to smoke. Making the time Irrelevant and everyone else waiting. Since he works there he's running it on his "time." I remember when I came to play one time, and this time he wasn't playing, he cut the timer short on me. I was so mad because I was literally 1 turn from winning..... but I bet if he was playing he probably extend the timer because he needs his smoke break. No wonder not many people come here to play digimon/yugioh. Never coming back... I've met people who also ran issues with him. Anyways you're much better off playing somewhere else, that one worker made this place...
