Mississippi Crossings Event Center — Attraction in Champlin

we booked this place for my fathers celebration of life. let just say it was more than we had hoped for. what a beautiful venue. whoever designed it did really an amazing job. the wall of windows overlooking the mighty Mississippi is great. the inside is designed perfectly for anyone who needs a large area. nothing is overdone, but at the same time, no corners were cut. beautiful 360 fireplace as you walk in, which just sets the tone for the rest of the venue. many large TV monitors placed through out in which we used to put photos of my fathers life with family and friends on a slide show, and it really was great. lots of tables to sit people at. we had 10 round tables that sit 8 people at. which was perfect. everyone had space. the outside patio is large and sits up high along the bank of the river. large doors for ease of access the main room out to the patio. we catered in food, and they made it very easy for us to keep food refrigerated and fresh all day since it was delivered early. very accommodating. the stay was helpful but did not crowd us, but whatever we needed, they would accommodate. This place is really, really nice. The whole area feels fresh, clean, and well thought out — from the layout to the landscaping. It’s super kid-friendly, with open areas to walk, places to sit, and an overall welcoming vibe that makes it easy to hang out with the family.

The ice cream spot is a must. Creamy, fun flavors and a great treat after dinner or on a hot day. It's definitely one of those places where you say, "We’ll just stop for one scoop," and end up staying longer than you planned.
