We got 10 minutes in the water before there was a rumble of thunder and everyone had to get out. We had to wait for almost an hour before they announced that it would close and nobody would get a refund. We paid almost $81. The owner was stubborn and quite frankly, has no idea how to run a business. We will never return and recommend that no one goes there.

*Edited to add: The owner just gave me a call after I posted this review. His tone was rude and he continued to talk over me and not let me have a chance to speak. He said how reviews like mine hurt a business like his. My intention is not to hurt anyone's business but to say what happened and the truth is was that it was very frustrating and unfair. The female owner is the one that told an entire group of us that she would not refund our money. The gentleman that just called me said that he sent an email on the same day and refunded us 100%. We are verifying that now. There was some confusion because my husband registered with his email to use the facility but I gave the lady my email for the result of her decision about the refund. So the information was not sent to the email address that we requested which is why there is confusion. It's a cool place but I can't recommend because if something did go wrong, I wouldn't want to deal with these owners again.

** Chris, Never once did I say that I met you, but rather your wife, Jessica. Perhaps you are assuming that I was one of the many yelling or threatening your wife, but I was not. I was one of the people trying to help diffuse the situation because I was genuinely worried about her safety considering the anger of some of those there. You are showing your true colors by coming on here and lying. I changed my two star review to a one star because I think that more accurately reflects our current interaction. I hope the best for you and your family but you should tone down your aggressiveness if you want to run a...

Went on a Monday afternoon to evening, not too crowded. Met the owner Jessica, she was very nice. She helped us with the tickets beforehand. Brandon operated the wake board. Did all 3 activities: obstacles course (aqua park), high ropes and wake boarding. Man-made lake. Need shoes on high ropes. You will get wet! Which is great cause it’s hot out!

Pros: water sprinkler on obstacle course, staff is nice, good time slot options, water was nice temperature, no alligators, good location and parking, picnic benches and chairs, safety briefing before every activity, fun for adults and children, great exercise, everything is all in one location: aqua park, high ropes and wake boarding. Aqua park/ obstacle course has a lot of places to jump off and slide on. Feels like your on a private lake.

Cons: No real bathrooms just port-a-potties, I can’t remember if there was soap and water or just hand sanitizer, no changing rooms, no showers, bottled water is $1, no water fountain, no lockers to store things, they should have a “hamster/human” water wheel on the obstacle course (had one when I went to Mexico and had similar aqua park) can’t wait to see if...

My husband can leave a Google review if he wants LOL paddle boarding wasn’t an issue-my daughter has plenty opportunities for that as she an experienced rider. The issue was the dog/rude family member/worker telling us what to eat or not eat- Not what it use to be.lake is no longer accessible unless doing the inflatable park.were told we couldn’t have hot cooked food but pizza was acceptable-although that’s not for us & we don’t like to be told what food we can & can not eat. My daughter was TERRIFIED of a loose dog coming nose to her at the table while eating then barking at us. Owner of dog claimed to LIVE on the property and said he was “just hungry” and we shouldn’t have barbecue out there- we didn’t we had premade taco dip! Others had pizza and that was ok. Check the food allowance policy here before going. We also timed their “5minute safety” talks and my kids didn’t enter the water till 8 then 10 minutes after! Their time was suppose to start.

Nasty porta potty’s also.

2 sessions totaling about an hour on the inflatable WAS FUN!! but not worth the 2hour drive at all! Water park for sure...

We had a blast at Charleston Aqua Park! My wife and I took our 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter. The kids LOVED it. My daughter was nervous and unsteady to start, but built up her confidence the longer we were there. My son was running around exploring faster than I could keep up. My daughter was too short for the ropes course, so we only did the aqua park. This would be 5 stars, except one major flaw, the lifeguards! They have three strategically placed crow’s nests, with perfect views of the whole area, and they had three lifeguards. The problem… all three lifeguards were in the same crow’s nest! That left 2/3 of the area where they could not see! Yes, everyone has life jackets on, but the lifeguards are there for a reason. I tried to keep an extra close eye on my kids, but my son was going so fast, it was hard to keep an eye on him.

As two adults, we had a blast! The ropes course was actually really challenging and fun. I think 45 minutes per session is the perfect amount of time. After one ropes sessions and one inflatable session we were wiped out! The lake is super clean and the staff is very friendly. I would definitely come back again. We didn't want to be there late but their happy hour price is totally worth it! Buying online is a better price than buying the tickets there too.
