The man accidentally charged us for a beer. Never asked for id. Currently 27, that could have been awful for the employees who placed it on my tab, and opened the purple can, if it was the wrong person. He was very kind. The lady with black hair working back there with him opened a purple beer up and put it where our stuff was. I gathered our things, leaving the purple can. My partner told me he thinks that they put that there for us. I did not know they sold beer. Looking at the can, I realized it was a beer! Love the fact that they sell beer here. However, when I requested the receipt, instead of providing it to me, she stated it would not be itemized. With us still at the register, I would be able to add everything up any way and see the price difference for the can of beer. The other lady working behind the counter let the one who opened the beer know that they are itemized. Confirmed we were charged for the beer. Never received my receipt. I then requested the specific beer I would like off the menu in exchange for the beer that was put on our tab. I recommend the pumpkin one! It had wonderful hops and pumpkin balance. When going back for another, our movie was 2 hours long, I was unaware that the consessions closed so early. Around 10-10:15, there was not a soul in site. Get everything in one swoop prior to the movie!! I was not expecting the pumpkin beer to be so good! Beware the butter!!!! Added some butter to my bag for popcorn, you cannot tell that it's coming out when the machine makes noise. Plus, the bag provided does not contain the liquade mess. My pants were ruined, as well as the arm of the chair and the steps beside where I was sitting. I placed the bag there to prevent further mess with napkins under it, and that still did not help. The seat I paid for still had someone's trash in it from the previous showing. The bathroom had not been touched by the pm shifts. There was cheese literally on the wall. The sani toilet cleaners were on top of the stalls median walls. There was a mess in a few stalls. Came here for the seats and coziness this place offers. Will be going somewhere else where the cleanliness is priority, and where the receipt will simply be printed and handed to me. I have not visited a theater that offers beer though so...
Read moreTo anyone attending this cinema, please read the reviews. Worst movie experience ever. This is usually my theater of choice, but NEVER again. Half way thru the movie the AC was turned off. I read the reviews prior and noticed that management does not act on items. I presented my complaint at the end of the movie to the can response you should of told us during the movie. I expressed that I was with my family sitting in the middle of the row and I did not want to miss any of the movie or disturb other people. The managements (SS - assitant manager and KL-general manager) response was "It would have only been 3 minutes of the movie that you would of missed." It was an action non stop movie and I did not pay that kind of money to miss the movie. As I was talking to the manager and asst. manager who had a total lack of concern another couple came up with sweat literally pouring down his face and his companion with her face as red as an apple from the heat. He suggested to us to dispute the charges with the bank and asked for the owners name of the company. If you are the owner, you will be getting a letter from me also. Other areas of concern. The chair arm rest in several rows do not have a cushion, but have exposed plate metal. The response about this is that the cinema is under renovation. The chairs as my 10 year old daughter stated felt like they were soaked with sweat. One of the dirtiest theaters I have ever been in. This was a 7:30 movie in theater 13. I am saddened that I have witnessed this cinema...
Read moreAyrsley is the perfect theater for those that love to see movies on the big screen but don't like to break the bank doing so. All movies before 4pm, except 3D, are only $5+tax. This theater doesn't have reclining seats, preferred seating options, or the option to order and receive food items without leaving your seat but it gets the job done in seeing what you came to see in a satisfactorily comfortable environment. The pluses of this theater are that there are more seats than the theaters with reclining seats, you can pre-purchase your tickets but you don't have to worry about all the good seats already being taken prior to the movie showing, with poper planning your party can get seats together if you have a group that includes more than one to two people, and of course the price is right. I have found it increasingly more difficult to find good seats for more than one person at other theaters that have preferred seating. For example, I was looking for seats for my son and a friend of his at the AMC 22 and the only option for two seats together was in the first row at all of the showing times. If you need more than two seats together at AMC, to see a high demand movie, then you are out of luck. A few things to keep in mind, Ayrsley does tend to sell out so I would suggest getting your tickets online if you want to see a movie at a particular time or getting to the theater 30+ minutes in advance for...
