Dollar Tree — Attraction in Charlotte

I am not a Dollar Tree shopper, my aunt took me to one a couple times in MA and FL. I was not impressed. I needed to make a basket, googled ideas and a DIY basket was made from all Dollar Tree items, I was intrigued. I went to the closest one to me in Fort Mill, SC, it was small, dingy, and out of everything. I thought this is what they are all like, but something made me google more stores when I got home.

There were a bunch of reviews saying how great the Dollar Tree is on S Tryon, I looked them up on FB, it looked good and more great reviews. I went the next day and I was AMAZED!!!! It was bright, clean, everything was stocked and staff super helpful!! I walked out of there IMPRESSED and will be returning again!!!

The worst customer service I've had in a LONG time! After shopping, I went to the register to purchase my stuff. The young lady there was on her phone and continued to type on it even as I stood there. I waited a minute, just thinking, " She's probably finishing a text, fine." Then she leans over the counter and proceeds to speak "Youtube!" Into her phone repeatedly not once even acknowledging my presence. Wow!! You can't speak to a customer? Or even put your phone down to do your job and then turn on YouTube or whatever?? I politely put those few things back that I was gonna purchase bc I don't care how low the price is, I will only shop where I'm shown respect. Save your coins and go to...

I always liked going in there, well ANY Dollar Tree until today...the Dollar Tree on S. Tryon Street, Charlotte, was always,a pleasure to shop in, until today, when the cashier, Darnella, was unfriendly and rude, and when I asked to have assistance summoned to get something I wanted that was pushed to the back on a high shelf, I was told TWICE with a very SNOTTY attitude to "get it myself". I have health issues, and I had to strain to reach my items! I have worked in retail most of my life, and even managed a retail store at one point...had one of my employees behaved as auch, they would have been...
