If I could give it NO stars I would. It's one of the dirtiest, smalled, and most unpleasant places I have ever been to. I went last night 04/12/15 to watch furious 7 (good movie by the way) at 10:50pm. NOT only did the window person selling tickers give us tickets to the showing that had already started at 10:20pm when we arrives at 10:45pm for the 10:50pm show but the older man taking the tickets inside tells us that we need a receipt. We had to go back to the window for the 2nd time and they said the ticket is our receipt. No one there had a clue. Once we walked in about 5 to 6 employees are standing inside of the popcorn food area talking and laughing doing nothing including the manager. We proceed to the theatre and as soon as you walked in it smelled like poop. We went to the left the at first then we saw our seats were closer to the other side so we walked back around to the right side. Both sides trash was overflowing onto the floor (remember 6 employees are in the lobby doing nothing). We walk to our seats to find lots of popcorn in our seats and sticky tables. Horrible! To make it worst the theatre is super small and EVERYONE had to sit side by side, unless you sit way in the front close to the screen. Its so uncomfortable, dirty, and just a bad experience. When leaving I walk into the bathroom because it was over a 2 hour movie and even the bathroom was dirty. NO SOAP in neither dispenser trash, etc. I won't be returning EVER! Beware if you plan to go. The only reason I came was because Carolina cinema last showing time was 10:15pm. Before coming here, I normally go to Carolina cinema (CLEAN, COMFY couches, alcohol bar, real food, and pleasant workers). If your looking for a clean theatre with reclining seats and good service go...
Read moreBought a medium diet coke today, all soda stations ran out while they were pouring. They offered a different drink but since they said itâd only be a minute to change the syrup I said Iâd wait. About 5 minutes later they told me they were completely out. I donât like other sodas so I asked for a refund. Gentlemen brought me down to a register and I asked for a cup of water. He poured the water from the tap handed it me and started walking away. I said âWhat about the refundâ to which he said âDo you want a refund or the cup of water, you canât have bothâ. They were the truly going to charge me $6.19 for a cup of tap water. I asked for a manager and she said it was their policy. Also called corporate and they confirmed it was policy. Corporate had the audacity to give an example that if they had ran out of hotdogs and gave me a sandwich instead I wouldnât get a refund. I explained that that scenario is completely different than giving me a cup of TAP water instead of a Diet Coke. Said it was an unfortunate circumstance but was policy nonetheless.
Turns out they did have Diet Coke and changed the syrup so I got what I paid for. Just canât believe ANYONE would think itâs ok to provide tap water in-lieu of a $6.19 fountain drink.
Edit: Normally enjoy this theater. My wife and I go to 2-3 movies a month. Only complaint normally is the icee machine...
Read moreI went to the kids summer movie program yesterday with my two grand children. The tickets only $2.00 person because of the kids summer program. Total $6.00. I purchased the kids meal which included pop corn. Small pack of candy.and icy or slushy. Cost $7.54 per person. I personally think it should be $5.00 per person. Everybody know how cheap pop corn is and when you pop it you can feed a lot of people off one box. I never understand why theater charge so much for pop corn. I wasn't able to use any of my senior discount. Not Even my AARP discount. The server said they don't use it on concession. I can see not using it on the movie tickets cause they were $2.00 already due to summer program. I spent $6.00 for movie and $16.00 for refreshments total. Total $22.00 . Bathroom was clean. My sever was not personable but wasn't rude. This was on a Wednesday that he served me. The kid crowd hadn't come yet. It was a calm atmosphere.
Second review: I went that same week on Tuesday but my grand kids and I didn't get to see the movie because of seatings they had left was not to our liking so we purchased our tickets and came back Wednesday. Grant served us on Tuesday. He was very helpful and personable. It was a stressful situation. Movie filled with kids and he still handle himself professional. Wished I could get him to wait on me...
