My band recently cut a full-length record at 0x1 and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience! Jason Ruch really knows his stuff, and he's a great guy. He's very down to earth and personable, and he truly, genuinely cares about the music. He works with some big clients, but is humble and caring enough to work with local acts as well, and he pays the same amount of time and attention to those smaller projects. That's very rare. His equipment is top notch and his ear is well-tuned. The studio was recently renovated, and features an incredible new live room that just sounds amazing. I've been recording music for 20 years and have worked with many sound engineers as my music career has progressed. Recording at home absolutely cannot compare to the experience of recording in a studio with people who can advise and direct you through the experience of tracking, mixing, and mastering.
