Spirit Shop Wine & Liquor — Attraction in Cherry Hill Township

This store recently changed owners. Prior to this change, I would have given this store 5 stars hands down! I have been going here for years and personally prefer small businesses, especially during the pandemic. Everyone used to be so friendly. Since the change in ownership, the store has gone completely downhill. I DO NOT RECOMMEND. They changed the hours, so they are only open until 7 on weekdays and 9 on weekends...I don't even have my kids in bed by that time. One night, I arrived at 6:45, the doors were locked. The owner opened them for me and then said "hurry up we are closing!"....I could not believe the complete disrespect that was given to a customer. They jacked the price up on a few of my favorites by a couple dollars each! Recently, I came into he morning. They were supposed to open at 10am, I arrived at 10:15am and they were still not open. It is almost as if they don't want to make money? Needless to say, I will not be going back here...

Unfortunately as I understand it. This establishment is closed today for change in ownership. The selling owner kept a 20+ yr employee on board. I heard rumors this new owner is not. I will update in a few days with price changes, staff review and further comment. (Before new owners 10/9/20) The 5 stars is for the staff that has been there the past 3 years since I moved locally✌🏼✌🏼

These guys are a bunch of clowns. Don't get me wrong, they have a good selection of wine but their service is awful. Cashier didn't know they have a website and after grabbing another employee they don't even honor their own web prices! When I asked, the response was an abrupt and rude "that's the whole point of having a website, web specials" no offer to meet the price. With that kind of attitude, this is my last visit...
