I went into Sprint because I had busted my screen and my phone would not turn on. The first time in 11 years so I dropped my insurance 4 months ago. Always works that way! Out of five lines my phone was the only one eligible for an upgrade. The issue, it's a lease. I would've had to pay the balance of the lease off, damages and the lovely "misc" charges Sprint loves to add had it not been for the guys in the store sending me here to see if there was a chance they could fix my screen and possibly get my phone working again. While trying to figure out how to pay around $760, John replaced my screen and got my phone working perfectly in 20 minutes. He also told me if the screen didn't fix it, he would take it off and charge me nothing. I couldn't believe the generosity of this guy. He was so nice and had this big smile on which when your stressing, is absolutely helpful. He also put a screen protector on for me and gave me a discount on an Otter case. I walked out with my phone like New and paid a total of $140 with everything! I still feel like the cops are gonna come get me, surely I robbed them because I've never gotten such incredible support, compassion, a deal and in 20 minutes. THIS is my #1, and only, recommendation for anyone who needs their phone fixed. I can't thank...
Read morei emailed the place inquiring about my phone screen type and price was told "come on in, 89$, should be an hour. they. did not have my phone screen in and it took OVER two weeks as i also waited for phone screens to come in for my phone, too. i was told they came on a tuesday, wednesday i was told they were not so i continued to let them hold my phone and thursday they also still did not. so i cancelled that. when we went to get my phone at 10am we sat in the parking lot for over 20 minutes because nobody was answering/they werent open.
what really upsets me is being lied to that my screen was in stock and then when going there being told by the NEW guy working his FIRST day that they dont have them and itll be 5 business days. on a saturday. the next saturday it wasnt done. saturday after that it was finally done but waited til thursday to finally get it so i could just get the screen part done. nope i dont being lied to for my business. so you wont be having it again. like you straight up emailed me saying itd be an hour and it took weeks. and then nobody was even there when the hand written hours were on the window? idk what y'all are going for but i wish you the best. that was shady af. & you dont need to know my phone pin to...
Read moreSo I dropped and cracked my iPhone screen about 3 weeks ago. I called 2 places. One wanted to charge me $135 and Metro wanted to charge me $165. When I asked Metro if I could get the $135 price they said no because their screens are actual Apple screens. So I took my phone there since I wanted apple glass and paid the $165. Well that was and is a lie. It is not apple glass and they are not an authorized apple dealer. I called apple and verified this too. My phone now does not respond to touch and Metro will only replace the fake apple screen for another fake screen. I don't have time to deal with going back and forth because I was lied to. So unless you want to take your chances and get ripped off, go to any Metro location. I woulda felt better about this if they were honest and said the glass wasn't supported by apple. Oh and btw that is $165 for a fake apple screen when you can pay $145 for a real one at the apple store and it actually works! But because Metro lied and won't back it up by just refunding me, I will take 5 minutes of my time to save others the money and hassle.
And for you who work there and own the store, shame on you for taking advantage of people who...
