Zuccaro's Banquets & Catering — Attraction in Chesterfield Township

My husband and I got married at Zuccaros a month ago. June 29th. With newlywed life, reviews got away from us. But it's never too late to say amazing things about Zuccaros! From day one, I wanted to do the new fiancee thing and check out 30+ venues. My husband, being a simple guy with good intuition, picked Zuccaros after only looking at 2 places!

Heres why: the customizable packages!!!! This is a HUGE stress saver. The ONLY outside vendors we had to hire were a florist and photographer. I repeat - almost everything was scheduled and done by Zuccaros! It. Was. So. Easy! And yes, AFFORDABLE! We held our ceremony in the courtyard and reception inside Hall C. There was even a backup plan in place for rain but fortunately we did not have to use it. It was a beautiful sunny day! Next year there is an outdoor pavilion/chapel opening up on the property and it's gorgeous!

The options for decor, food, ceremony style, dj music, colors, fabrics, etc were endless. Elaina essentially became my sidekick wedding planner. We did not have to hire one. She's amazing!!! She helped us through EVERYTHING. She was very responsive to all of my emails and genuinely wanted to make sure we had everything we wanted, even the tiny minor details were perfect. She reminded me of things I never even thought about (such as chair decor at our ceremony, napkin colors, and aisle spacing). At times she became my counselor when it felt stressful. She genuinely cares! When Elaina wasn't in the office, Mark would help answer anything we needed and relay messages promptly. Zucarros had a very simple sample agenda for ceremony/reception times that we were allowed to change but it worked the best the way they had it laid out. Zuccaros knows what they're doing! Elaina even came to work on our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect.

Our DJ (Bo) was so fun and such a sweetheart! He kept us on schedule with bouquet tossing, garter tossing, speeches, etc and worked the crowd with all of the songs we wanted. He mixed in a few of his own as he saw fit but my point is he was extremely receptive to every detail (I customized the ceremony with songs at certain minute marks for example) and he had no problem picking up on my creativity. He was extremely involved in our day, he didn't just connect to YouTube and let a playlist go like some DJs do. Bo was so fun! He even made a plan with my Dad for the most memorable Father of the Bride speeches! Ever have your Dad make a speech to the Rocky theme song? Bet you wouldn't forget it.

The food was fantastic!!! The selection was awesome. We even got to taste what we were serving long before we had to choose a menu. The service was great, staff is super friendly, and we had our own waitstaff accompany us at our chosen buffet style set up (theres several dinner styles to choose from) and make our plates for us. The champagne was so good. The bartender was quick! The cake was even included in our package and we had a cake tasting session as well. The cake was delicious!!

I am only putting one star because I have to otherwise it would be zero stars. We were supposed to get married on October 24th. We put a deposit down on February 2019 for the October date. Our next payment was supposed to be in April 2020. We were going to pay but with COVID out and relatively new we were told it would be fine to wait a few months for the next payment. We were contacted during the summer and were told that the company was short on money so they wanted us to make a payment but would not guarantee we would receive any money back if we were not able to have the wedding. We did not want to hand over more money if the company was already in trouble. We wanted it in writing that if we could not have the wedding in Oct that we wanted our money back. They still refused to put anything in writing . We were contacted about 2 weeks before the wedding that they would not allow us to reschedule the wedding or receive any money back from Zucarros. We worked with all of the other companies and were able to receive money back from every single one except Zucarros. We want others to be aware before signing any contracts with them. After six different weddings at Zuccaro's banquet and catering I thought it was fitting to give them a review. Zuccaro's does a fantastic job from start to finish they can provide everything needed for the event of your choice whether it be a wedding or a family get-together or whatever your catering needs are. They always make sure they go the extra mile for you the food is prepared as you would expect from a $200 a plate Gourmet Catering facility yet they have a very reasonable price compared to most Halls. The service that they provide is completely awesome and very personalized. The wait staff are always there Pleasant and ready to take care of every one of your needs. After your event at the Zuccaros the guests are all overwhelmed with the quality of the service the food and the total atmosphere at the banquet hall. Don't forget they have some of the best meat raviolis ever served at a wedding or an event. They do make several different spaghetti sauces including a magnificent bow tie alfredo which is always a hit. Their meat dishes are delicious and not overcooked very moist when very tasty.
