Globe Furniture & Mattresses — Attraction in Chillicothe

Almost 58 yrs ago, we furnished our home with furniture & appliances from Globe. That's when the older family guaranteed & followed through if there was a problem. About 2 1/2 yrs ago we spent over $7000. for a sofa & 2 recliners. The leather recliner has been "fixed" several times & it still isn't right. The sofa & other recliner were covered w/new material cashmera-guaranteed for 5 yrs according to sales lady. She urged us to buy this. The sofa got 2 holes in the middle section (which is never used). Guess what?? The material has been discontinued. Basically they said we were stuck with it. This was unsatisfactory !!! So they got middle section to "sew" it. Got it back today & it sticks out like a sore thumb. Unsatisfactory. I think the sofa should be recovered at Globes expense. We were talked into this fabulous material. HA!! And this is the best they can do?? The older family would have made this right. We'll never ever buy one thing from Globe again & we'll tell everyone we know that they have no guarantees on their products. I recommend people shop elsewhere. The sale person''s word means nothing. And I guess Globes reputation just...

We love our new living room space! Globe Furniture is top notch. The staff is friendly, and so knowledgeable, professional, and patient...and they go the extra miles to please. Jeannine was an absolute pleasure-as lost as we were, she was always so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Several team members helped with measuring and to make the most of ideas and suggestions appropriate for the space…we needed a LOT of help to furnish our room because of a number of specific features (ie.,placement of walkways and lots of large windows we didn’t want to block), and a LOT of help to select pieces that would suit our style (we had no idea what that was 🤷🏻‍♀️ ) and they have done so to our complete satisfaction. We can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience from start to finish. Obviously, we highly recommend...

We worked with Chalie to get a new couch and loveseat. She spent a great deal of time with us to ensure we got exactly what we wanted. She's knowledgeable about the products we were looking for, took notes, and checked on any questions we had. The estimate was 10-12 weeks for delivery from Best Furniture, they came in about 6 weeks.

The two guys that delivered the furniture were excellent, very professional. They placed the items where we needed them, no muss, no fuss. They made sure everything worked and was placed properly from the walls before they left.
