Wheatberry Books — Local services in Chillicothe

I visited Wheatberry Books for the first time today and it was beyond awesome! This charming little place had an abundance of books that I was dying to get my hands on, and it took every ounce of self-control to not buy them all. The atmosphere was a bit rowdy due to a children's author book signing, but it was really cool seeing all the kids excitedly exploring and enjoying books. Nonetheless, I managed to snag The Priory of the Orange Tree, The Way of Kings, and Asimov's Foundation - I couldn't be more excited to dive into these gems. Wheatberry Books is a sweet little shop full of bookish treasure to uncover. There is truly something for everyone to be found here. They have a cute little room for the kids, and they even offer storytimes. (Be sure to check for dates & times.) I found an array of cards, apparel and gift items in addition to the well curated book selection. I was pleased to see a fully stocked shelf of secondhand books too. Wonderful little nook! Blew all my expectations. Excellent customer service with Miss Sarah. The children's books are in their own cozy corner with a rug for that welcoming feel. The bathroom even has a real changing station which is hard to find anywhere much less a non-food store. It has that super inviting charm of a café without the chaos of most bookstores. 5 star organization and category distinction. They order any book you cannot find on the spot.
