We drove up to see the Poverty String Band and try out this microbrewery last night. It’s easy to locate and street parking was available within a block of walking. The exterior and interior are modern trendy with large open spaces. Seating is reminiscent of school cafeteria tables with long tables and bench seating. Bar seating is available and was all that was available when we arrived an hour before the show.

If it’s your first visit then the ordering process is a bit opaque, but is very similar to ordering from a McDonalds kiosk. However, the beer is still ordered from the bar. At the kiosk you place your order, pay, and enter the number of the placard that you take to your table. Once the food is ready a server brings the food to you. I pity the server who has to wander around two floors looking for a 3ā€x5ā€ number. That could be the reason you pay the tip at the kiosk before you ever receive service.

The beer was excellent, with an ample variety for a microbrewery, lots of names and your typical porter, IPA, and a wildcard beer. If you’re looking for a three-page menu of beer, this place isn’t it. The prices ranged from 5-8 a pint.

The food was meh for what it was and what it cost. A burger was $10 and was gratefully not over-cooked but even with the inclusion of jalapeƱos (seeds in) it had no flavor. The loaded fries fared no better. Like a previous reviewer had stated they were lukewarm, soft crinkle cut fries that tasted like they had come from a bag. Interesting enough they really really smelled like peanut butter, so maybe they fry them in peanut oil. They just didn’t have any crispness to them so the oil might have not been hot enough. If not for the toppings it would have been wasted money.

The service we received was excellent, the food delivered in a timely manner, and our drink service excellent. Most likely given that we sat next to the register at the upstairs bar.

Overalls this place has potential. It’s location is ideal for foot traffic and it’s inclusion of local bands will continue to draw crowds. Hopefully their price point to food...

I was there for a Doordash I sat in the drive thru for 10 mins after telling her who I was there for and some young looking boy with glasses came up to the window and asked who I was picking up for and I seriously I've been sitting here for 10 mins and now you guys don't even remember who I'm here for and he was very rude I mean when I first told the girl who I was there for you'd think they'd start working on his order then it should have been ready I got the order when I was at rallys and I got held up there for 10 mins and I get there and wait 10 mins jus to be asked again who I'm there for I understand you guys are probably low on staff but there's no reason I should have had to wait for 15 mins in your drive thru for one item tht he jus about threw at me I have customers waiting for their food and I'm not making the money I could have been making g if I'm stuck in your drive thru and to be treated so bad by your employee was definitely uncalled for basically trying to throw the bag at me very disappointed and you guys have done great up until...

Stopped in Chillicothe on the way home from Michigan. Wanted to check out the town and grab a bite after checking in at our hotel. Pulled up Yelp and Fifty West looked like a good option for dinner. We were not disappointed. The industrial decor and openness of the tap room is appealing and clean looking. There are a good variety of solid beer options. All three we tried were good and not gimmicky. Lots of burger options but had to try the West Virginia burger since it was a little different; having apple butter as an ingredient. This turned out to be a good choice with the apple butter providing a not too overwhelming bit of sweetness to the burger. The wings very meaty, smoked perfectly and had just the right amount of seasoning. All the food was fresh and well presented. Also enjoyed the friendly staff who were very attentive and knowledgeable about the beer and food. Will return on our next trip through...

Right on the corner and hard to miss in downtown Chillicothe. Plenty of room as there is a second level for the over flow. Very friendly atmosphere as plenty of regulars (you can tell by the clay steins in their hands). Grabbed a seat at the bar and ordered a Main Street (Amber Red 5.3 ABV). Picked their Flying Piggy special, Pulled Pork Grill Cheese and fries. Their merchandise is in the old bank vault. Got the keys around too for the lock boxes. They were out of stickers, so they had beer labels in the bins 🤣 Definitely worth a stop by as they have a slew of beers to try. The food is great with all the different varieties.

Happy to be here on opening day. Excellent beers on tap, they encourage you to sample multiple to find what you like. I settled on the Only in Chilli, a maple ale, shockingly good and not what I expected to get, I now want to see if they'll do a black and tan using it and their coffee stout, I'll ask next time. Prices are good. Menu is limited but good, definitely get the fry sauce. Kids meals are reasonably priced and they have a house root beer my daughter loved. I'll looking forward to coming back in the future. We don't eat out a lot but we'll definitely put this in the rotation and be stopping by for crowlers.
