So this is a long one.. Before we switched my gsd always had mud pie yellowish poop. Began eating grass to throw up everytime we went outside. He would eat alot one day then for a couple days after eat very little. He started over shedding. His hair got super course dry looking & lost quite a bit of weight. Took him to the vet & they said he may have epi but would be another $300+ to do the test which we didn't end up doing. At that point we were kind of at a loss. Then seen pet wants at the farmers market decided to grab a business card & called later that day spoke with MariJane had a couple of questions about my gsd she was very friendly & very informative ended up recommending the salmon & brown rice formula. Started switching slowly like they recommended. Was a little nervous honeslty cause usually any little thing would cause him to go from mud pie to diaherra. But had absolutely no issues which that alone impressed me. Then once we got completely switched we started seeing changes within a week. He stopped eating grass & throwing up. Started eating consistently. He stopped shedding. Over the next month his coat grew back so shinny & thick he gained his weight back. His poop went completely normal which it has never been since we got him as a pup (he is 1yr). Honeslty he truly did a 180. I ended up switching our 2 other German shepherds as well. This food has been such a game changer for us & I am so happy we...
Read moreA wholesome place to get nutritious food and healthy treats for your dog. Marijane and her family were helpful in educating me on which is a healthy dog food for my dog Avi, 9 months. I have noticed Avi is happy, healthy and has a shiny coat from their Pet Wants food. I often get the chicken/brown rice or the salmon and brown rice, my dog Avi enjoys both. I like that they have variety of selections in their protein options like lamb or duck that Avi can try. I got an Omega-3 fish oil for her too and serve it daily. I spoil her with treats like beef tails, beef cheeks and freeze-dried liver. Avi’s favorite though is the flavored beef cheeks as they last her a while to chew through. Today I tried their self dog wash located in the store, and I thought it was wonderful to use. The water is warm and the blow dryer is comfortable. I was able to safely wash her and dry her and I am happy I don’t have to worry about the hair that would have been in my bathtub. It was easy and Avi is nice and clean. I would love to use it again. Tried some new things today like the lamb kibble, antlers, pumpkin dental sticks and lamb hearts. Should be set...
Read moreLauren and Taylor were such an immense help today! Lauren introduced us into the store and gave us a quick tour. We needed gifts for the dogs in our Sit Means Sit training group who have been helping us with our pup and Lauren helped us so much! She even gift wrapped them so cute!! We were given samples of venison and even got help finding a balm for our pups paws. They have a freezer section for yogurts, ice creams, birthday cakes, cookies and they sell our dog’s favorite snack: FREEZE DRIED CHICKEN HEARTS! They have the cutest events and the staff are highly informative of pet needs and items that could supplement their health. I’d definitely check out this store if you have a dog or cat that you treat as your child and as a part of your family. We met them at the Chino hills farmers market on Wednesdays! BTW I saw they have a pet wash station but I haven’t used it - it was very clean...
