My visit to Cyber Quest at Soaring Eagle was shortly after Thanksgiving. I was excited for the visit and enjoyed myself. I would like to give 3 1/2 stars if I could. For the most part the prices for the games are reasonable, not a bargain for most but not out of touch with most arcades. They had a nice variety of games to be played, some of which were new to me. There are a few of skee ball lanes which were perfectly fine if somewhat needing some TLC, a couple of free throw games, down the clown, gone fishin', another where you light up all of the pads on a board the same color, deal no deal, and some other video games toward the back, and a few others. My favorites were the skill based games. The Treasure one where you try to collect coins without knocking down a metal pole was actually my favorite. Prizes were reasonably priced based on tickets won from the games.
The big disappointment for me was the claw machines. Several were unusable at the time, one had an arm that was completely unattached but wasn't marked, another was marked that it was broken, there was not much variety here and what was here was not inviting or didn't seem well cared for.
The staff was great and very helpful! There is a good variety of prizes. It is difficult to look and see just how impressive this arcade could be if there was more effort by the casino put into it. It is a good "beginner" arcade to visit if you want to get a taste of how fun an arcade can be. I realize the main focus is the casino so the arcade is basically added on to placate parents with kids...and it shows. Overall, worth a visit, especially if you are in the area, but you will likely leave wishing it had just that little bit of extra space, games, attention, care that...
Read moreSo much fun! We were long time visitors to Cyber Quest at Four Winds and were so disappointed when it closed. The staff at Soaring Eagle were welcoming and helpful acquainting us with their games and processes. They have a nice mix of games and great prizes! I appreciate that they had a procedure to accommodate guests from Four Winds and Daniel (there was another young man helping us as well) went above and beyond making us feel welcome. Convenient location in the casino, right next to the...
Read moreIt used to be a lot nicer. Carpet looks old and smelly. Claw machines are stuffed so tight that it's not worth the effort to try. They have a VR that one person used in 3 hrs time because nobody wants to spend 10 dollars to experience an old game with their friend. Multiple machines didn't work. They did have a decent amount of prizes to be redeemed. It's the only arcade that I know of in Mt. Pleasant and could really bring a good crowd if they brought in more machines...
