I will start with what was wrong with our time here. Service here was horrible. It’s a shame when you are paying good money for a meal, ($85 for 2 people with no alcohol) and your server acts as if you are bothering him with the fact he has to wait on you. We came in at 8:45pm on May 25 (Saturday) we were watered promptly and told our waiter would be right over. When he got to the table he asked what we wanted to drink and was very short and as soon as we told him what we would like he quickly left. His tone was that he was irritated he had to even wait on us. We were thinking maybe they closed sometime soon so I even got up and went to check the hours. They closed at 11pm. So well over 2 hours. Every time he brought something out- if we asked for something he would quickly leave before we could even say anything to him. I had to wait for condiments and was brought ketchup instead of cocktail sauce. I asked him about it and he said no it was cocktail sauce. So I just did without it since I was not using ketchup on my shrimp. Now for the food. I started with the tortilla soup. It was ok for soup. Nothing amazing. We got the cheddar biscuits before the meal and they were phenomenal. I ordered the filet tenderloins with shrimp. It came out beautifully presented and had amazing sauces that it came with. I asked for fried shrimp instead of grilled and it was delicious. My friend got the burger with fries and said it was pretty good. We choose not to get dessert because we did not want to deal with our servers attitude towards us.

Our group of 6 was seated promptly at our reservation time. My appetizer was a wedge salad and warm rolls. My entree was filet mignon with shrimp, grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes. All were very good. One of our party had the prime rib that appeared grey and was said to be cold and undercooked. All other entrees were enjoyed. Everything is a La carte from the wedge salad to any topping you might want on your steak. The desserts are exquisite. The atmosphere is classy with low lighting, comfortable chairs, cloth tablecloths and napkins and elegant flatware. Very clean. Table service was excellent. Pricey. It’s cheaper then Vegas but not by much. I would return on special occasions.

The bartender was fantastic, but other than her, Not 100% pleased with this place. The spinach dip (my go to at every restaurant) was ok... but not great. Could have used more cheese & cream for sure. My husband ordered the prime rib and it was super chewy and rough, not worth the $35. However, 110% reccomend the truffle frys! They were delicious!

I do my best to post positive and negative reviews of my experiences, versus posting only when it’s a negative experience. The food, I would gravitate towards mediocre, at best. The steak was chewy on one side, the other side was more inline with what a $40 steak should be. This points out an inconsistency in their meat source, which would be an issue with quality control. The taste, well, I prepare a better steak at home. Ordered the carmelized onions, I’m not quite sure what was going on there, but they were very mushy and looked like a pile of mush. But what no one has commented on, the level of second hand smoke in the restaurant. Within minutes my entire palatte was satiated by the overwhelming smell of smoke. It made the entire experience absolutely miserable. Having been a former smoker, I’m not one that’s easily offended by second hand smoke, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I didn’t finish my meal, due to it.

I’m usually in Vegas for a few conferences a year, which those casinos allow smoking in them too, but it’s very faint. In the various restaurants, there is nothing indicating people are smoking inside. We had our 1.5 year old son with us and he smelled like a cigarette butt after we left. I also find it ridiculous that they have a sign posted in front of the restaurant indicating that “they listened and it’s now smoke free,” dated from 2017. The thing is, a statewide ban for smoking indoors was enacted in 2009 and they opted to ban it in 2017. I realize it’s a reservation, so there’s different jurisdications in play. Ultimately, the dining experience was subpar, due to the food, but the second hand smoke made it an absolute miserable experience. I suppose I’ll wait until all the smokers die off before I go back, which will likely be never. Save your money and go to Ponderosa, Sizzler...

Our waitress was amazing!!!! BUT, when we arrived the hostess approached us head down and didn't even acknowledge us, she did her thing then asked us if we had reservations (it was 7p), we didn't so we got on the list for 9:30p. We arrived back for dinner and were sat by a very nice lady (maybe manager) and the hostess was quite vocal walking by our table several times, complaining about the time and how customers hadn't arrived yet. She was difficult to listen to. We ordered truffle fries, which were great, and the rolls and butter were perfect as well. However..... Our meals were awful. I ordered the filet mignon (medium) with 2 shrimp, mashed potatoes, saw on the menu that there wasn't a veggie, only fried onions, I asked if I could get brussel sprouts on the side. Our waitress was super helpful and told me I could sub them for anything with the steak, not knowing I had no idea it came with a veggie already. I didn't want to sub out a potato for them, so I ordered as a side. The food arrived.... I ended up with brussel sprouts and broccolini with carrot, I looked confused, told her it never said it came with that. I ended up sending back the brussel sprouts, because I didn't need all that veggie. She was good with that. My steak was rare, the veggies weren't steamed well carrot was hard as a rock. Mashed potatoes tasted like box potatoes, and the fried onions on top were stale. Food was awful, especially for the price and the pictures they display on...
