Where to Go for Gatherings in SoCal? Kid-Friendly/Adult-Friendly/Party Spots

1) Would be good if the staff paid any attention to small kids climbing and jumping all on their own, while these teenagers are chatting, not even glancing at their stations. 2) Our birthday party was marked by a nasty accident on the rope course up high. A big kid (maybe 13 years old) was scared of heights and still went on, the staff pushing him in front of the line. My son (9) ended up after him, and that was a nightmare. The big kid was moving slowly and completely stopped in the middle. My son was stuck behind him, unable to leave or even sit down because the platform was so tiny. We urged the staff to help the big kid get down, and they just imitated activity. Nothing was done for another 30 minutes until we demanded to see anyone in charge. By this time, the stuck boy threw up and was miserable, and staff just talking to him. It took some arguing to have them actually move and get him down. The manager was telling that that couldn't find his mom, but they never used loudspeakers and didn't search much — come on, it's not so many parents here. Anyway, absence of mom is not a reason to ignore the kid in need.

Had a blast today. It's our fourh trip in as many weeks. The weekday unlimited jump pass is really a bargain. My kid loves the trampolines, inflatable obstacle course, the roller coaster, and the high jump area. He's also played basketball and dodge ball a few times. My son loves the SpongeBob coin game and is really great at it. He was able to save up 2700 points AND collect the 9 card collection to turn in for 3000. The computer at the prize counter seemed to be on the fritz. No biggie, Gio went to get his supervisor, Amelia and she got to task getting it back up. All while we were waiting Gio was super engaging and talking to my son about anime, soccer and video games. Once the computer was up Amelia made a pretty big deal that my kid had manged to collect all 9 cards and happily awarded him his 3000. A few prizes later we were on our way and feeling awesome about the experience we just had. Really looking forward to returning. Hopefully, Gio and Amelia will be working so we can say hi and just tell them how great they both are their jobs?

Let me preface this review with a note that the kids had a blast. We did arcade cards instead of goody bags which was a huge time saver, and the guests loved the "arcade", but not as much as the trampoline area. This is one of the best jumping places I've ever visited. They really do make a great experience for the kids, and that's the only reason they get any stars at all.

The party experience, as the host parent, sucked. The waiver verification system sucks, my guests were told to show up at 1:30 to check in, and still had to wait in a 20 minute line before they even entered. I actually showed up at 1:15 so I could troubleshoot anything that might have come up, maybe meet the party host, but they wouldn't even talk to me until my check in time of 1:30. Fine, rules are rules, I'm not gonna get mad at a teenager who gets paid minimum wage to get yelled at by pissed off parents. Maybe if they had acknowledged me, it would have eliminated the confusion about where my party was going to be, as they hadn't assigned or prepared a party room for us. It took forever to find a cart, so it was into our party time before I was able to start setting up. The party was fine, except for the delay in waters and arcade cards. I paid for a room from 2-4, so I was pretty irritated when the hostess came to collect payment and informed me it was a "fast flip" so the next party would be starting at 4. So basically GTFO even though you signed a contract for two hours. Not so much.

Okay, let's talk about the food situation. This place is a good value for a party, so I understand they make their money in the add ons. The no outside food thing is a bit much, but again, I get it. But water. They will charge you a $20 fee to bring in your own beverages, so you might as well buy their water at $1 a bottle. This place involves children sweating and needing water. It took long enough to get the water we paid for, and I couldn't even find anybody to sell another case of water. It's unbelievably messed up that they're not willing to include hydration in the price. Or at least let me bring in my own reasonably priced case. One star down for the water.

The water wasn't the only thing they nickel and dimed. The cost of the party was reasonable, but all the little add ons really add up. In the case of the food, the options were crazy overpriced, and not even food that everyone wants to eat. Like I said, I get the business model, but there is a point where you just can't anymore. One star down for the slightly hidden charges.

About the hidden charges. The bungee activity that costs extra isn't clearly labeled as such. It's confusing for the kids. Also they're literally the first thing you walk through. Of course everyone wants to do them. One star down for bait and...

Place is absolutely terrible there are other trampoline parks to go to in San Diego PLEASE AVOID this one at all cost. Long story short we had my sons birthday party here we paid a lot of money for burnt pizza and no customer service fernanda who was supposed to be our server didn’t even serve us we had to do it ourselves. When we asked the excuse was she has multiple parties ok so do we get a partial refund they told us no we don’t do that then the Brent nasty pizza no they don’t care about customers. Then at the end we get our bill and they charged us for 5 extra people that showed up 5 minutes at the end just to tell my son happy bday. They maid us pay for the full time are you kidding me. We asked for a manager then this snooty little girl came out named crystal (if that’s her real name) they like to give fake names by the way. When we chatted with her about this sistuation she walked away and brought another bigger young woman out that had a bad attitude monette if that’s her real name. They all got caught in lies and played games with our money when we asked to speak to someone over them they said no call the store and leave a message and we will get back to you meaning them so they can go to the owner who they claim is a man named Patrick but I doubt it and lie to him instead of just giving us a call. DO NOT GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT got to poway or a different one this was the worse...

We had a birthday party here for my son and wold not recommend anyone to have a party here. I have had several parties at different places and this was one of the worst. The whole point of having a party at a location and not a park or house is because you don't want to deal with the stress of having to organize it yourself. This party was completely disorganized. The "hostess" was so quiet nervous and shy. She didn't know what she was doing. She kept going out of her way to help a group of people who were there that weren't part of our PAID party. After the pizza and before the cake she showed me the bill for the second time (majority was already paid in full - more than half like they ask) because I guess she felt like doing so in the middle of a party was an appropriate time. There wasn't any real ending; after the cake was served she was gone. Then returned later to take the table covers off of the table we were still sitting at. To top it off she brings me this questionnaire about the hostess' performance for me to fill out as she is standing right by my side. I was definitely disappointment to say the least. I didn't feel the amount we paid was worth the service we had. With that said, the hostesses need to be trained so they can HOST a party. Will never again have a party here but would bring my kids...
