The food is always great and the place is always clean. They have fast service; however, my parents went there on Wednesday and they had the worst experience with two ladies working there. One of them black hair with highlights and glasses and the other with blonde hair slightly older they were being so rude and made the order my parents placed how they wanted to make the order. My parents ordered two milanesa tortas one no onion and one no beans y a special torta, strawberries, chamango and juice. They did both milanesa tortas as if they had said “extra onions and no avocado on both.” I remember taking at least 3 oz of onions from my torta alone.
My father asked to the cashier “what was the difference between a biónico and a escamocha” and those two ladies answered “one has ice cream and one doesn’t” but in a really bad tone of voice. They were being really rude as if they didn’t want to do their job or to work there.
I get that customer service is hard but why make it harder on people and themselves?
This is not the only time this has happened with those two ladies. Every time I go and they are working there they always have a long face like they don’t want to be there.
I will have to think again before I go back, I’ll make the trip to a farther place that sells the same thing if I get better customer service.
In contrast, there is another lady with lighter skin and light brown hair who is always so nice and makes sure the orders are correct. Sadly I do not know her name but she is always wearing a low ponytail...
Read moreChango Mango is a new deli/fruteria that just opened in Fiesta Plaza off of Main St. It was such an amazing find!! This is definitely my new go-to place for tortas. I had the ham torta and added queso panela, it was excellent! Also added avocado and chipotle sauce, which I highly recommend. The bread is fresh and the ham is tasty! The chipotle sauce has an excellent flavor to it and a nice kick to it.
I also tried a scoop of ice cream with chocolate fudge which was also very tasty!
My girlfriend ordered a tuna sandwich and also added avocado and chipotle sauce, she loved it! She also had orange juice, which she said was very nice, refreshing, and fresh.
We also shared a changolate (chilate), it was good, basically a chocolate drink.
Also one thing that was especially nice was how new and clean everything is. The bathroom is especially clean.
Overall, I'll be a regular at this place for a long time! Very satisfied and will be back!
UPDATE: Just had their ham sandwich with queso panela, I loved it even more than the torta! They had homemade horchata which I had to try, and it was honestly the best horchata that I've ever had. It's super creamy!

Read moreFirst and LAST time going here! My mom and I went here a couple of nights ago for some smoothies and weren't greeted or acknowledged. We waited over 5 minutes to be helped since the 2 women were making orders for people who came before us. While we were still waiting to order (mind you we were the only ones there) a woman walked in and was greeted and helped with her order that was apparently called in. Long story short, we left being that we couldn't even get basic customer service. I refuse to spend my money where I don't feel welcomed! And lastly, its sad to say but discrimination still exists. My mom and I are Black and being ignored like we were definitely felt racially motivated. If that wasn't their intention they need to do better with treating all of their customers equally and making them feel welcomed. Chango Mango left a bad taste in our mouths which is disappointing because their drinks looked...
