I booked a Gel-X set with Lexi and couldn't be happier! I always have trouble find nail artists I click with and give me something close enough to what I want— Lexi gave me EXACTLY what I wanted! Will 100% be returning

EDIT: I did take away a star due to some unclear policies that have really irritated me. I work with kids, and one of my nails was accidentally kicked off. It was within the 7-days for the nail fix policy I was told. When I called and explained what happened, I was told the nail could be fixed for a charge. Apparently, because it was kicked off and did not naturally fall off or lift or something, it does not qualify for a free nail fix. After the phone call, I looked at their policy online (as I was told in person if anything happens, it can be fixed) and while the online version does specifically include things like lifting, the way it is written still implies that its just based on the time period, not whatever caused the need for the nails to be fixed. Although I know and understand I'm not entitled to any sort of exception or exemption, I feel like this policy was enforced without empathy or compassion. While I will be returning because I thoroughly enjoyed the work that Lexi did, I do have some resentment following this...

I wanted to love my experience badly. I will say the two ladies who did my mani and pedi are nice However, I expected a much cleaner environment given the marketing. The towels need refreshing badly and things could use a really good wipe down. I noticed towards the end of my manicure that my nails looked oddly thick and I asked her why. This was after she was about to proceed to do my builder gel. Her excuse was oh we don’t do acrylic that looks like acrylic. So you were going to proceed to do builder gel on top of “acrylic” without letting me know? I got my previous set done in Paris at an all natural salon that was builder gel on my nails I even called to confirm. I also have a few cuts on my cuticles. I haven’t worn acrylic in over three years. I wish she would have taken the time to actually let my nails sit long enough and do the work to take my builder gel nail set off. I also asked for sharp square nails and she gave me what she wanted they are all shaped differently.I spent 180 bucks just to leave right after and go get them fixed elsewhere. I’ve been wanting to come to spruce for years and I finally made my way and I was so dissatisfied. I won’t be returning...

My nail set was pretty yet flawed. When I asked them to repair the flaw to prevent fungus growth under my artificial nails , they accused me of causing the issue myself… though it was present at the time of my service… and refused to repair them or refund me in accordance with their service guarantee. I just wanted them to protect the health of my nails and they wouldn’t help me at all. When I told them I would post a review about the terrible service I received, they then offered to refund my money whilst accusing me of trying to hurt their business with false claims! As if I would lie?! I would not have posted this review had they actually refunded me or fixed my nails… but they would not help me in any way whatsoever and became quite cold to me. I literally had to go through the fraud department at my bank to get my refund!!! Thank goodness my nails are ok.
