DIY Printing — Attraction in Cincinnati

TL;DR, I do not recommend this place if you care about employees and it is a miracle OSHA has not gotten involved.

I considered getting prints here as the quality of prints I have seen at essex shows have been excellent, but decided against it since the place is ran like a sweatshop. I am genuinely worried about the employees well-being, which is why I am posting this review. I hope the disorganized owner does something about this rather than blaming his employees for his shortcomings. I profusely apologize to the employees if this review causes retaliation on his end.

This studio is regularly 90+ degrees from April-October, so if you are a customer who needs to discuss your project, try to avoid going in (employees also regularly get heat illness but from what I have gathered they are not knowledgeable on the matter and work through it). The location is also FILTHY (think half-inch layers of dust stuck to the walls) and half of the equipment is broken and employees must make due.

This past weekend, I had the pleasure of watching these talented folks screen print custom T-shirts live at an event! It was really cool to pick my size tee and follow it along their assembly line as my unique print of the Fotofocus logo was freshly inked and dried. Aaron is incredible to work with, so patient, and so knowledgeable. Had the pleasure of printing a few posters with DIY Printing several years ago.
