I chose Elev8 Fun Tampa for my son’s 15th bday, I was hoping to just relax & let the kids have a blast …. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I usually like to post more positive reviews, but due to the fact this particular location is still new, I see potential, & we spent over $700, it’s worth my review/opinion.
For starters they offer military discount that is why I gave 3 stars rather than 2, (kudos to any establishment that honors our military family). I filled out a request for the party on line & didn’t even receive a phone call until 3 DAYS before the party . I was told, they do not have their party rooms available yet but if I arrived early enough, I could reserve tables & a host will be appointed for our food & assist w/the activities. NOT the case…. It was uncomfortably HOT in the entire building. I was able to ask a family for their tables as they left & set up my own table cloths & cupcakes .. 30 minutes went by {after requesting 3 different servers to take my order} until someone finally came & took an order. Once the food arrived a totally different server took the rest of our orders. The FOOD: We ordered 3 orders of boneless chicken wings, in 3 flavors, 5 large pizzas, fries & onion rings. The onion rings were pretty good but the pizza was extremely greasy and tasted like old reheated, frozen pizza. Wings were soggy & 2 of our party guests got sick that couldn’t even participate in the activities. THE ACTIVITIES: , holy WOW, that was the most stressful & disorganized torture. We were told to stand in a line [backed up almost to the entrance] to sign a waivers. & to purchase the activity cards(for all 10 kids). Prior to, I asked several members of their very YOUNG staff & managers if they had online waivers & had no clue those waivers were available on line. Thankfully my son found the waivers on line so we had already had that part completed while standing in the 25 minute line. Fast forward, we get to the front desk to make our purchase; absolutely no party discounts offered (even though I was told there would be). However the young man was very patient, helpful & pleasant as we decided what activities to choose & did provide a military discount. We chose LASER TAG, GO CARTS, & ARCADE. Laser tag was a blast … the staff working the counter accommodated our entire party & even took our picture NO COMPLAINTS (besides the heat). On the contrary, the Go-carts, the staff was impatient & rude. One of our kids that got sick from the pizza ran off during the video. The staff member didn’t even allow someone else (who sighed a waiver) to take her place. Money lost! Another staff member , put one of our kids in a car w/a dead battery. However the track was very nice & everyone enjoyed the actual event. Meanwhile, a server was upset that we had our food & belongings on the tables during our activities & asked my daughter if we would move while the rest of us were finishing the activities UPSTAIRS, despite the fact half the tables were still empty 🤷🏼♀️, So instead of buying any additional activities, we chose to pack up & leave. Long story way too long… my recommendation, .not a lot to do for smaller kids under 7, perfect for teens or adult date nights. For staff/ownership: Do not offer parties if that can not be accommodated. More experienced MATURE management is definitely a must. Industrial ceiling fans would help cool the facility down, and The food & restaurant management NEEDS to be revamped. Maybe throw in a team meeting before each shift when something new has become available(ie: online waivers) to help diminish the long lines & guest confusion especially on a weekend. I hope to visit again & have a much...

Elev8 Tampa! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Today, the labelle White House team visited Elev8 Tampa, and we had an amazing experience enjoying everything they have to offer — from Go-Karts, Arcade, Bowling, Laser Tag, Ropes Course, Mini-Golf, X-Cube, XD Dark Ride, to Axe Throwing! We even reserved their VIP room for an hour to relax and enjoy our food together — it was a great touch.
💙 Customer Service Desk: We want to give special thanks to Lasdar, who was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions and made sure we got our activity tickets quickly and smoothly.
🧗 Ropes Course: Angie and Jayden were fantastic helping our group get safely suited up in harnesses and guiding us through the ropes course. They made sure everyone felt confident and safe.
🏎️ Go-Karting – Some Challenges: Unfortunately, we did have an issue when we arrived for our scheduled Go-Kart race. We were met with an extremely rude attitude from an associate, Armando, who told us we were late and mocked us instead of helping. His “oh well, it happens — wait until 9:40” attitude was unprofessional and left our group in a tough spot.
Luckily, the management team jumped in to fix this! Gabi, one of the managers, immediately stepped in, apologized, and reworked our schedule so we could race at a time that fit with our other activities. When we faced another issue trying to check in for the rescheduled race, Manager Sharon also stepped up. He was very polite, handled the situation with care, and made sure we were able to race as planned. He assured us that the unprofessional behavior would be addressed — and he personally escorted us to our race. The Go-Kart races turned out to be awesome, and our team had a blast!
🔫 Laser Tag: Zach was super friendly and made the experience fun. He explained everything clearly and wished us good luck — the team had a great time!
🎢 XD Dark Ride & X-Cube: The Zombie Apocalypse Dark Ride was a fun, immersive experience thanks to Angie, who helped us with our 3D glasses and instructions. The X-Cube, their virtual escape room, was a unique experience too — a little glitchy, but still fun. Manager Sean helped set it up for our group of six and made sure we were good to go.
🎳 Bowling: Hayden was extremely helpful when we had a technical issue with our card, and Manager Tori jumped right in to fix it. Both were friendly and made sure we had a great bowling game.
🪓 Axe Throwing: Our final activity was axe throwing, and Noah was amazing! He signed us in, walked us through safety instructions, and gave us helpful tips. His patience and positive attitude made the whole experience even better — we highly recommend asking for him next time!
🍔 Food & Atmosphere: We really enjoyed their food and drinks — the VIP room was the perfect way to relax with our team in between activities.
✅ Overall: Despite a rough patch with one staff member (Armando), the rest of the Elev8 Tampa team and management made sure our day was a success. They handled the issue promptly and made sure our experience stayed fun and on schedule.
If you’re looking for a place for family fun, corporate team-building, or private events — Elev8 Tampa is absolutely worth it! The variety of activities, the great food, and the AMAZING staff make it 10 times better. We will definitely be back and will recommend Elev8 Tampa to all our business partners and community members.
Thank you again to everyone who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time!
Five Stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ labelle White House Press...
Read moreI would have rated 5 stars, but part of our visit really was a problem for me.
For the good part : The food is amazing. This place has the best burgers my family and I have ever had. Our waitress was just as wonderful. I do not remember her name, but she has her septum pierced. This young lady needs a raise and a promotion.
The games were fun, and it was nice to go as a family. I had no issue dropping $344.00 for the 4 of us to have fun together until the end of our arcade visit.
Now for the very bad : The worst experience was when we redeemed our tickets. Not only was it packed, but there were only 2 employees out of 5 who were helping all the families. There was waiting to clock in, and the other two were just standing there talking to each other. I was there with my husband and my 2 children, and we were very patient waiting to be helped. I was an upper management retail manager for 25 years, so I know how difficult it can be for employees. What boiled my temper was the way my husband was treated. Luckily, he did not hear or see what I saw. I am degreed in Psychology, so watching human behaviors and observing is something I do naturally. Anyway, my husband spoke to a young man as to whether or not the 4 of us could combine our cards. When my husband came to tell me we could, he pointed out the tall, thin young man her spoke to that has an afro (I am unaware of his origin so I do not want to assume based on his dark skin). Now, my husband has severe anxiety, OCD and is a service veteran. He was bouncing around, and by my observations, he was overstimulated. So he asked this young man several questions and was just going back and forth. After telling me what the young man said, I looked at him standing behind the counter and smiled, and my husband went off kinda in a place again. I watched this tall, thin, young man with an afro point and my husband, say something to the other employee and laugh. They both continued to watch my husband, and the rude young man was explaining to the other young man his encounter with my husband (I can read lips too when I need to). I am appalled by this young man. He is VERY, VERY lucky there were so many children around because I am not one to keep my mouth closed. How dare this young man - well, actually, CHILD behave so disrespectful. I say child because only a child would behave in such a manner. This young man should be disciplined, and honestly, if that was my employee, I would terminate him. I would NEVER allow my employees to EVER treat anyone so terribly. That child has no idea what my husband copes with.
Just remember, someone is always watching what other people do, say, how they act.
I am beyond...
