We were very excited for the bottomless fries, that was the main purpose of our visit. It started off fine, until my husband got his long island ice tea and it tasted like lemonade. My husband doesn't like to send anything back but I spoke up for him feeling bad he wasn't enjoying himself. The server, who barely looks 18, insisted it was made properly but she took it back anyway. We ordered our burgers to both be cooked medium. Mine came out almost raw but I didn't want to complain again after the drink so I dealt with it. I couldn't eat it all, I got sick thinking about how I could possibly get food poisoning. When the server came back, I handed her my plate and she said wow that looks raw. She had the manager come back and talk to us and I explained I don't like to complain and I don't want anything free but that yes that burger could make people sick. If a place is known for its burgers you should be making them right. Manager asked if there's anything else she can get us and I said we are just waiting on more fries, sweet potato fries and another coke. 15 minutes went by, I waved a young man serving other tables over and he ignored me, and finally the server came and pulled up our check on the table kiosk and thanked us goodbye. I didn't get my fries or soda. The server also had an extra pair of hands to help her as she was training someone, although I don't think she should be in the position training anyone. The trainee was the most polite one, I thanked her. I did also tell the manager before leaving that I think she is incompetent as a manager. I NEVER complain because I know it can be difficult. I have been in the service industry for over 10 years but this entire experience was awful. A manager should've turned the whole experience around as soon as the long island happened or when she found out my burger was raw. I didn't want anything free but what I would've liked was for the rest of my experience to be enjoyable. This was the worst experience I've had eating out, good...
Read moreI've eaten here twice over the last six months. The first time was a poor experience with the food; the manager was super nice so I gave them another try two weeks ago. The order was wrong again. It's also such a small amount of food for almost double what I would pay at another burger joint and it's not better AT ALL. The fries were not extra crispy, there was no salt, and they were not hot even though I waited on the food. I received less than 10 fries in the container. They are bigger in size but they aren't that big. My toddler ate most of the fries before I could. I ordered their guacamole burger; got home and there was zero guacamole on the burger. I paid $19.87 for gluten free burger and some fries, which is just so much for cold food that's not even what your ordered. I reached out to the manager on duty because I like to give the restaurant an opportunity to make it right. They manager offered a refund to my card which I appreciated and said thank you. Two weeks later, still no refund. I waited to make sure it would fall off thinking it was a banking delay. Nope, just not issued. So I followed up by calling the store. Manager was again super nice but took my info for them to reach out. They sent me a gift card. I was promised a refund and a gift card is not the same thing. I don't want to waste any more time trying a place that thinks $20 for fast food quality burger and fries is acceptable and it's ridiculous they think that a gift card is an acceptable substitution for a refund. It's not. Don't offer to make something right if you're not going to follow through. I had planned on leaving a bad review after the last visit and then the manager handled every thing well so I refrained. But this development is super disappointing, and I will never be a customer at another Red Robin again. I will be following up with my bank to get this resolved since the company failed to do the...
Read moreWent to eat here last week with my Grandmother and had a very bad experience.First, I do however want to say the manager seemed friendly and was very welcoming upon arrival. I actually wished he was our server, after he left it went straight downhill. Our waitress seemed bothered by any request to give refills or even to check on our food. Only ordered two meals and went around 3:30pm on a weekday so was not busy. Did not have silverware to start and did not even receive our drinks for close to 30 minutes and we placed the drink order and food order all together. After receiving our drinks once she never checked to see if we needed refills and did not see her for close to an hour after. While waiting for our food for for over an hour I noticed our food order was sitting at the window ready to be served and for about 15 minutes it just sat there. I almost went to the kitchen to get our order myself but did not want to take someone else's order if in fact it wasn't ours so I remain as patient as possible just watching to see if the food is picked up. Eventually, someone (I believe another manager) acknowledges the food has been sitting for a while and notifies a waitress (not ours) and she rolls her eyes and with noticeable agitation quickly puts our plates on our table and leaves in the middle of us asking for refills and did not hear us so walked away. Even our bill had taken longer than it should have to be delivered to us. I hate writing bad reviews and normally don't complain and will not even send food back if its cold (which our food was) and I try and remain understanding because I understand bad days happen but this was not a normal slip up at all and felt like I needed to write something just so this does not happen again to...
