I never give 5 starts to any restaurants .. But this one deserves it .. The most I give is 4 stars to any restaurant.. With that being said I walked into this restaurant on a Friday night, the host was super nice to me and my 6 year old son.. He gave my son a lollipop for gratis.. but now to the food.. the food is 5 star hands down.. The best food I’ve ever tasted in Albany… And I pretty hard to please.. I am extremely difficult when it comes to restaurants getting rating from a me.. #1 I am Dominican so I am used to rich food and rich fast food.. #2 I’m also from Brooklyn, home of the chop cheese amongst many other dishes.. This restaurant has the best garlic wings that I’ve ever tasted ( Thatbis because Thatbis the only wings that I ordered) .. In addition to the cheese stick that I ordered.. the cooks (brothas) in the back know what they are doing 100%…. The host is super friendly.. There is a reason why it’s a 30 minute wait for wings.. This place is busy non stop… My review is authentic… if you are in Albany, get your wings from here…...

I always drive by this spot. And today was my first time actually stopping in ..

I’m on a hunt for a fried chicken iv seen on tik tok. It’s topped with a special blend of seasonings. Ranch/ powdered sugar and other spice. It’s BIG in other areas.

bb.q Chicken US is the closest I could find in this area offering anything similar.

They offer “cheesling” - which is the korean fried chicken topped with a sweet cheese blend.

I wanted to get wings. But they don’t sell only flats. And I don’t eat drums. They look like little baby legs 😭🤷🏾‍♀️

So I opted for the boneless tenders

The seasoning blend was soooo good. I love the sweet and salty. It was the perfect blend. However, the chicken was way too dry. Like not just fried hard, dry. it did have a great crunchy texture on the outside. Just too dry on the inside. Wish it was taken out a minute earlier or so sooner.

That seasoning tho? Was soooo good. I wonder if they sell just that? 🤔🤔

Have you ever been to any of their locations? What else is good...

I went to lunch here with my husband. He got the small boneless hot spicy wings, and I got the small golden original wings. They were absolutely delicious. The fried chicken wings were perfectly coated, fresh, and full of flavor. My husband said that the sauce on his boneless wings was very spicy, which he loves because a lot of places don't make it spicy enough for him. The small size was definitely a lot for both of us, so don't let the prices fool you—you get what you pay for. I could only eat about three wings because they were so big and rich, but your mileage may vary, especially if you have a bigger appetite than my husband and I. LOL. The man working behind the counter was very nice, and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. The most important thing was that it was fresh and hot. I would definitely come again and try other items...

I ordered a golden whole chicken and rice cakes. This was my first visit. I’ve heard so much about the great chicken. I was not disappointed. Korean-style fried chicken isn’t greasy and it doesn’t include the same rubbery skin as American fried chicken. It’s so much better! The rice cakes were spicy and the fish cakes were definitely a bit fishy. They weren’t bad but the order was too big to finish. The staff was running behind on my order. For some reason, a lot of lunch orders came in at about 2pm. I think I waited about 10 minutes, but the staff was very nice and friendly. The food was well worth the wait. The restaurant is small but clean and cute. I can’t wait to try some of the spicy chicken dishes.

I love Korean fried chicken, so this spot was an easy choice during our trip to Albany. My husband and I shared: - Maple Crunch Boneless Wings - Mala Hot Wings - Rose Ddeok-Bokki The wings were fried perfectly. I recommend going with the traditional wings over the boneless wings, but that's just my personal preference. The maple crunch wasn't quite as saucy as I prefer, but it was still good. The mala hot was very spicy, but very good. I probably wouldn't get the Ddeok-Bokki again. It was ok, but I've had better versions of this dish elsewhere. If you've never had Korean Fried Chicken, you should definitely try it! You'll never want another kind of wing again.
